I don't drink. I'm underage.
I also have double jointed fingers! Yay!

I'm not double jointed, but it'd be so helpful in playing guitar...
I'm having a party tonight...and I'm already tired. Not a good sign...
Good luck with it, Amber. What are you baking for it?
A dancer being double-jointed isn't a surprise, but as we all know, Adam isn't much of a dancer. I have noticed that he's pretty flexible though, as in that picture of him on a table pretending to look through a camera in Rent, or a similar move he makes near the beginning of Fortune Favors the Brave, knee-bending way down in sort of second position. Or sitting cross-legged in the window in the Rent movie, for that matter. I can't do it with my knees flat like that, so I tend to notice.
::is the opposite of double-jointed, if that's possible::

Haha...no baking. We're going out
But there is much baking in the future to be done...I can feel it...
Speaking of cooking, does anyone have Cybele's cookbook? Call me weird (I know I am) I got it when it came out just because, and the picture on the back of the whole family is really cute. But surprisingly, even though it's an allergy cookbook, everything is really, really, really good. I cook from it a lot now. Strange, aren't I?
Sorry about your shots, Lexi. I hate needles. I avoid them at all costs, and when faced with them I lose any semblance of maturity. When I first saw Rent 9 years ago, my parents started lecturing me, thinking, "oh no, the kid's gonna love needles now." That was definitely not the case.

I'd consider buying it, but I wanna flip through it first...unfortunately I haven't found it yet. I've done some of her recipes from the blog and they're always good
I can't call you weird, since I did exactly the same thing, though I do actually have a couple of friends with allergies whom I can use as an excuse. I agree, all the recipes I've tried have been wonderful, with the exception of the Sloppy Joes. However, I screwed up on one of the ingredients, so I'm reserving judgment on that.
You should get it, Amber. The baked desserts are the most unusual, since wheat flour, eggs and butter are kind of the backbone of most of those, but there are a lot of recipes that don't involve substitutions at all but are simply great food. Plus there are a number of interesting stories about various family members.
Yeah, I've got some friends with allergies, so the cookbook has proved very useful in that respect... but in all honesty I can't say that's why I originally got it. I recommend it, too. It's always exciting when Adam pops up in the commentary.
Amber usually when I'm out I let the bartender pick. Sometimes its been good, others bad, I like trying new drinks. I usually start with Sex on the Beach.
Lexi, I also hate needles, but I've gotten over the loathing since I started taking allergy shots. I still don't like them but I don't have the fear I used to have. I guess that's what happens when you have to get them every week.
Chloe- Love the new avatar I suppose he's lucky for being double-jointed because of the guitar- you have to do all these crazy fingers things, IMO.
I've gotten over my fear of needles. I just don't look. WHen I was younger I always used to cry & stuff.

I'm 18 and was still crying at the doctor. To be fair, they offered me some sort of numbing cream, but it would take an hour to fill the prescription, so I just decided to go for it.
I'm going out for Mexican food tonight, which basically means a bean burrito for me considering my limited choices.
Additionally, how the hell do you all have a discussion about flexibility without leading the thread into the gutter?

To be fair, anything can make this thread go into the gutter. For example, the love between a pot and a kettle.
I loved the other av, but was starting to feel like it was taking up too much space. This one is from one of Cassie's darker pictures. It sort of fits the mood of the new songs, I think. I made it black and white and brightened it up. I love iPhoto.
Sarah, I'd forgotten all about that pot and kettle stuff, just remember it started out as something about Anthony fans. It's far too long since this thread has been lead into the gutter, now that I think about it.
We tend to go on random tangents. It was about the Anthony fangirls and turned into brokeback mountain with a pot and a kettle.

¡Amo el PASCAL de Adán!
Whatever you say... "Pascal" and "amo" certainly go together.
Yeah, can't say I understand that, either, but sure.
Chloe, I love my Mac, but iPhoto confuses me so much.

Not that this is interesting AT ALL, but I plugged in my Nano (given to me as a gift of sorts) yesterday and it started working again. It had been broken for over a month, so I'm happy.
Chloe, among other reasons, I think this thread is collectively scared that he's reading it.
NYC here I come!!!! Can't wait!
No Adam, though.

How long are you staying there, Atrias?
In what way are you confused, Ashley? My use of it is pretty much limited to copying pictures off the net, cropping them and occasionally doing some doctoring as I did for my av. i find that the "enhance" button can do wonders for those dark pictures on AP Online. For instance, here's one of Lexi's favorites untreated and treated:

I think it looks better dark, though!
Thanks for the nice welcome back, Siamese Dream and Chloe
It was back in the OBC days... I would have loved being at RENT 10, but alas
Ouch... Being double jointed in your fingers looks painful LOL
I think it looks better dark too. I mean the 2nd one looks like the pixels are getting all weird.
You're welcome EA. Tell us about your OBC experience, if you can remember, I know it was a while ago.
I used the low resolution version of those pictures so they'd fit on the page. The gigantic version looks much better. I know what you mean about how the dark, moody lighting is very atmospheric, but I like to actually see him sometimes too.
