The Aida hair is perfection. He was going blonde when he was 25, so it's probably not an age issue. He just seems delighted to change it all the time.
Em I love your new avatar and I also love all of the CC pics! His hair should stay that color forever. I personally think it looks good.
Dancin, your av reminds me of the silhouette effects in Aida. They were so striking.
I believe the reason for the "may contain peanuts" line is that some people's peanut allergies are so extreme that even smelling peanut butter in the room can bring on a reaction. Food processing plants that have peanuts in some of their products can't be sure that anything else there hasn't been contaminated with a tiny bit of peanut, which would nevertheless be enough to affect the people with extreme reactions. So many products have that caution on them that it must be hard to find stuff without it, so I'm sure it's annoying.

Oh, I know how extreme peanut allergies from a firsthand experience, that's why it bothers me. If there's any possibility that peanuts, traces of peanuts, peanut contaminated air, whatever is in the product, just say "Contains peanuts." It's not like someone with a peanut allergy is going to risk it if the product "may contain traces" as opposed to actually having peanuts. So what difference to the semantics make in an all-or-nothing circumstance like this?
I guess they have to reasonably distinguish between products made with peanuts and products that may just have unintentional traces.
The board is acting funny again.

My favorite picture from Aida
It's bad when you realize you're already on summer autopilot...when you still have a final to worry, I mean study for.
ETA-Am I crazy in thinking that when you say "I'm going to go get milk now" that I expect you to go get milk...now and not in 4 hours? *shakes head*

I don't know about anyone else, but personally, I love the Mute hair.
Heh.
Yeah, it's so hot.
I'd like to see a better picture of it, just to know how close to a Jewish afro it was.

Does anyone have a photo of it saved? I need a good laugh.
Jew-fro!
Adam had a Judeo (Jew-fro)?
My brother tried to grow one a few years ago...he ended up looking like Wolverine (he didn't shave his beard, either). Freaky.
A few things...
Those are gorgeous Cold Case pics! I missed that episode though...figures lol Any word on when it will re-air?
I'm seriously thinking of buying Cybele's WholeFoods Cooking book...I'm not positive yet (my doctor is going to do some testing), but I'm pretty sure I've developed a dairy intolerance. So I'm really thankful for Cybele and this book, I think it'll really help me if that is the case.

I believe there's actually a difference between an intolerance and an allergy, but I'm sure the recipes could be of use to you as well considering you have to at least cut back on some of the foods avoided in the cookbook receipes.
Yeah, there is, but there's no difference in going about avoiding it. I don't understand the people who are intolerant and still eat stuff that makes them sick when they KNOW it's going to make them sick.
There's definitely a difference. I used to be lactose intolerant, but it has faded over the years. I wouldn't get nearly as sick as someone who has a dairy allergy.
Isn't the difference that people with an intolerance have trouble digesting one of the sugars in dairy products, but people with an allergy react to one of the proteins?

I believe so, Jessica.
Heh, your avatar.
Ugh, Em, I know. There used to be this commercial for some lactose intolerance medication and the person was complaining about the symptoms they had when they ate ice cream or cheese and how Medication X helped them! I was only like 10 when this thing was running, but I was really annoyed that people would be stupid enough to eat something that made them sick in the first place. And that medicine was patting them on the back for their stupidity by creating this medication for it. Shouldn't we be worried about curing cancer and not about medicating people for minor conditions they CHOSE to put themselves in?!
Sorry, I just hate that as a society, we not only tolerate stupidity, we now reward people for it.
Clayford, I haven't heard about a rerun yet, but there are some clips at the link. They don't work for me, but maybe you'll have better luck.

Yep, BG. That's why people aren't usually "dairy intolerant," but rather "lactose intolerant." Lactose is a sugar in milk. I'm allergic to at least one of the proteins in milk, which usually goes by the name of casein; that's the case for most people with milk allergies.
Lexi, the avatar is an outtake, if you will, from my recent attempts at taking my own Facebook picture
Nice picture, but you seem to have missed your face.
