Roommonster, hehe. I love it! I do have an update, actually! Not a good one, but it's another story, nonetheless. Settle in, everybody!
Okay, I went out and asked if she had the mailbox key. I was very friendly. She went, "Oh! Yeah, I do... somewhere. Give me a minute and I'll go look for it." Okay. So I came back into my room... I heard her out in the kitchen. She finished with the blender (hummus! And I didn't get any offered to me. ), washed
every single dish she had dirtied, and THEN went to look for the key. A few minutes later, I heard her shuffling (she doesn't walk, she shuffles around) through the living room and stop at my door. I was facing away from it, but it was wide open. I got up and turned around, to find her standing there, eating a granola bar and holding the key way out in front of her.
"Thanks!" I said, and smiled, like a grateful little roomie. "Who's that?" she asked rather rudely (well, it was more of a demand, actually), pointing at my friend's graduation picture in a frame on my windowsill. "My friend Scott," I said. Without a word, or second glance, she shuffled away into her room and closed the door behind her.
