I want to know what you think of it, Allie.
backtracking to skirt- It's not done. I've hit a few snags, but they're nothing I can't work around. When I ripped the inseam out to get rid of the legs, I realized it would be baggy where there was extra fabric to make the crotch. I'm sort of mushing it together in the subtlest way possible.

Nia, I have a question for you before I go. I went to Value Village yesterday, and there was a section of books for children. On the shelf was a copy of Clockwork Orange. You've read it, right? How appropriate was this for the section?! I saw the movie, and it should NOT have been in that section!
AHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm in somebody's signature! I'm famous!
That series of interchanges is in my AIM profile as well. It made me laugh all day. My friends thought I was insane. Oh well, it's nothing new.
Will we be able to see pictures of said skirt? I'm very curious.
Well, it WAS a beautifully placed line, Elphie.

Allie, I hope you moved that book! While it's one of my favorites, it is FAR from appropriate for children- I'd say it was more disturbing than the (rather mediocre) film. I don't think most twelve year olds would understand it because of the partially made up language, but still!
I'll take pictures, if you all want. I feel loved. But... this means you may be forced to oogle a few of my other creations.
Elphie, that line was marvelous. How could I not quote you? And you're in the same paragraph as Hunter S. Thompson, which is quite an honor.
I'm so proud! I never say anything funny or sig-worthy. But now I have! God, I was laughing hysterically for five minutes straight. SO awkward.

The cover was very bright and colourful. I assume that's why it got stuck there. Yeah, I definitely moved it!
I want to see pictures! Another vote here for pictures!

So it must not have been this one? That's the edition I have... I wonder... how old would you have guessed the book you saw was? The older American copies do not have the final chapter.
I'll take pictures with my shiny, pretty, new cameraphone.
That's the one I have, too. That's what the cover looks like, anyway. It's on my to-read list, thanks to you, nia.
Yay! Pictures!
Grr..I'm getting kicked off. Good night!

'night, Elphie!
Emcee, will you EVER actually open the book?
I will, I promise! I have a to-read list and a movies-to-see list - both commissioned by several excellent people. They will all get taken care of soon, I promise!
Mornin Em.. How are ou today?
I'm okay. Just eating lunch before I set out to the library, because that's the only way I'll get my work done. Yourself?
I'm pretty good.. I'm avoiding work by playing on here and surfing the net.. Anxiously awaiting my consultation to inflict pain upon myself..

Hey! Oh my goodness, Emcee, I was just reading through the Kitchen Sink threads. I can't believe you got called out like that! TOO funny.
Oh, and this is basically what the book looked like. Very kid-friendly looking, no?
Your picture didn't post.
And.... heh. *shuffle* Kitchen Sink.
How'd you like the play?

It didn't post? Here's a link to a similar poster.
The play was... I had to stay up and finish the whole thing, and then I started it again this afternoon. It was like nothing I've ever read. I loved it.
Clockwork poster says... Click me!
I like that one. Wasn't it nia's avatar once?
And YAY!
Okay, time to go read millions of pages. For real this time. *wave*

Ugh. Not fun.
I've gotten kind of behind... in a week. Then again, they don't expect you to read ALL of this.
