Well, I've only been embracing it for almost 14. I didn't care untill all my friends became un-single. Now I'm the only single one, and it sucks.

Well, I failed my political science midterm paper. And I spent $80 too much.

Today's shaping up well.

Oh, no. I got my grade. I have to "have a talk" with my professor, who is the most arrogant bastard I've come across in a very, very long time. And I find reasons to like almost anybody. I'm curious as to whether he'll sit me down and tell me I'm stupid, as he often sees fit to do to the class as whole, or if he's actually going to try to help me. Now I have to figure out what to do, since I can't back out of the class. It's too late. We have a pass/fail option -- if I can get above a C, I can just have a "pass" show up and it won't factor into my GPA, but then I can't count the course for my major, because if I do that I have to allow the grade to appear. So, we'll see.

My mother is going to hurt me.

Tough choices there, and it's awfully hard to deal with arrogant people. Here's my advice after years of such encounters (movie business, come on): don't defend yourself, don't explain or try to justify anything, just listen to him and agree to whatever you feel you can.

Wish you could, Cam. I got one of the regular tickets already, so I'll be there, but later. Hope you get in, EIR. Since the notice was so late, most people who want to go have probably already gotten tickets, so maybe there won't be a huge line.

Well, the dress code for this one seems pretty loose. The first press release said "costumes welcome," so probably anything goes. I think I'll be wearing black jeans and a red turtleneck.
