I have. More times than I care to post publically, for fear of being labelled a nut job.
I think he's lovely, even though he has a crappy reputation.
Sometimes Reputations are based on one or two bad days.. Everyone has them but those are usually the things that stick and get spread around..
You're right Em this is the first night I have had to relax at home in I dont know how long.. I actually came home from rehearsal and crawled into bed to watch a movie.. I wound up falling asleep, but it was fabulous.. I figure I have all night to pack.. my flight isn't until 11 tomorrow morning.. I still have 12+ hours before I have to be at the airport..
How are you doing tonight Em.. I feel like it's been forever since I had time to have a good conversation with you..
I'm content. School's catching up with me, but aside from that things have been pretty amazing lately. So, I can't complain!
People ask me about Adam. I tell them that he's never been anything but an absolute sweetheart to me. If you're nice to him, you'll get the same in return. If you piss him off, that's a different story.
Em it's like that with most people.. I know a couple of actors that have gotten the total A**hole rep because of a few chance encounters where it was a bad day.. Circumstances what they were, I have to say the attitude was completely justifiable.. But I have noticed that it is easy for some to forget they are people just like us..
I'm really glad things are amazing for you.. How did your interview go? I'm sure it went well.. or has it not happened yet? I ust can't keep up anymore.. It makes me sad that I can't hang out with you guys as much as I used to..
I think it went well. I was listening to it today; I'm really proud of it.
I can't wait to hear all about it..
Me too - how's the article coming along?
jkfan, I've met Adam once, but it was before I was a fan. I was impressed with him even then, however.
I know I'm repeating myself here, but sometimes the celebrities with the most oh-so-sweet reputations are simply the ones with enough guile to know how to present themselves that way. Adam seems to have almost too little guile.
I still don't know how I'm transcribing it yet, so it's just sitting on my computer for the time being.
I'm sure it will be fabulous when you are done Em..
Chloe I think you are right.. some of them are better at keeping up the act 24/7 than others.. Sometimes as people you just snap though.. You can't fault them for that..
Actually, I respect someone more for being unguarded enough to respond naturally. Though that can get very difficult once someone has become very famous and every little thing is ridiculously magnified.
Can you tell us what some of your topics of conversation were, Emcee?
I was asked to keep it to the movie, but they ranged from the cast to the character to the translation... lots of things. I promise I'll get it up soon.
I agree with respecting them for being ungaurded enough to respond naturally. It's better than getting the impression that they are fake or everything is an act, but at the same time I feel bad for them when one incident gets blown out of proportion. All it tkaes is a little gossip to ruin a reputation.
Yes, it's gotten really bad that way. Well I'm off to bed, finally. Have a good night everyone!
'morning y'all. I just posted my "opinion" about Adam's "acting" on the main board.
I really hope it wasn't too "belligerent."
With that, I set to work. Extra hour made it easy to wake up early.
It seemed "fine" to me, Emcee!
Now back to trying to fit a week's worth of housecleaning into a few hours.
Good luck!
I'm just about to begin typing my good friend the midterm paper.

Hey, guys! I just got back from my weekend at home. I FINALLY found a pair of boots. They're so cozy! BRING IT ON, WINTER!!
We stopped at Value Village on the way into the city, and I was browsing the music section for quite awhile. I bought my very first record. Hello, Dolly! for $1.99! It's definitely going up on my wall.
I hope everyone else is having a good weekend!
aw, yay! (for both!) What kind of boots.
I'm typing a paper. ugh.

Hurrah for good weekends!
Sounds like that Hello, Dolly! record was a bargain - but can you actually play it? Do they even make record-players anymore?
But it's definitely worth it just to use as decoration!
And boots? What boots? Oh, you mean actual boots.

The boots are black, FLAT (so I won't break myself trying to walk in the snow and ice, eek), and totally lined. I put one on, and it was SO cozy. They're very comfy, too. And, shhhh, they're from Wal-Mart. I'm on a budget, here!
I don't have a record player, but I'd love to get one! My grandparents have one. I have the Hello, Dolly! CD, so I don't really need to listen to it, but it's still very cool! It was on the floor, almost shoved under a clothing rack beside the music section. *hugs rescued record*

Have you seen those notebooks that are made with genuine, rescued from the trash, record sleeves? They're cool. I saw a Rolling Stones one and I was going to get it, but alas, for some reason I did not. But good idea, no?
Wal-Mart is evil.

I haven't seen those notebooks, but they sound really cool! Now I want one! How exactly are they made? Is the notwbook the size of a record cover? That's HUGE!
Sorry, Ellie. Wal-Mart had pretty boots.

^ They look a bit like this, Allie, except the ones I saw were nicer. And they're all enviromentally friendly and no two are alike!

Wow, that's pretty awesome! And you could definitely do that yourself!
