Ooohhh my.

Chloe, I went to the grocery store, and then had everything all ready to make some awesome dressing. I opened the cupboard for my poultry seasoning, aaaaaand there was none. I was very sad.

Awww - well I just checked my poultry seasoning, and it's a blend of sage, marjoram and rosemary. Maybe you have those instead?

I wish I'd been at some of those early concerts Adam did.

Chicken teriyaki is good...

I feel a strange nostalgia for the early Rent days. When I was first finding out about it, I looked at some old websites with reminiscences and pictures. It makes me feel weirdly sad for an experience I never had.

Yup, this was my first time seeing it. I LOVED IT. At first, I wasn't sure how I would like it, but it was fantastic.

Boy, NOW I'm sad. I ran for the TV to catch the show, and flipped through the channels a bunch of times before I realized that I don't even GET CMT.

And my mom took my copy of his Christmas CD, so I can't even listen to that! I'll have to call home and get her to tape the show for me when it runs again next week. I was going to rent a movie tonight and everything! You'd think I would know which TV channels I get, wouldn't you?

Yay! I saw the movie, and I loved it. I'd post a review, but that thread seems to have been taken over by some maniac who seriously blames Adam for not refusing to do the cliff sequence. Yikes. (And I don't know if it's because I had been led to expect something embarrassingly awful, but I didn't think that segment was bad at all - somehow, it worked on the big screen).

What really makes me happy is that my mom also loved the movie - even if she keeps referring to Adam as "Bon Jovi Hair." She just asked me to put the soundtrack on her iPod for her, and now she wants to go see it on Broadway too.

You know, Billboard, it all makes sense to me now. My mother is a diehard Jon Bon Jovi fan. It makes sense why she's so attached to the Roger movie hair! (I suppose I suspected this all along, but just needed some sort of confirmation.)

Ugh. Someone just PM'ed me that she didn't want to be rude, but that her friend made this icon, and didn't want anyone except "them" to be using it.

I'm pissed because it WAS rude, and because I found this thing sitting around on the internet on a page with TONS of Rent/Adam icons. If you post it in public domain, it's fair game, and you have no right to pick and choose who can and can't use it, besides the fact that she can't prove this EXACT icon to be the one her friend made. The programs people use all generate similar material.

Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving, and enjoyed my avatar while it lasted. *huffs*

Well, I'm trying to find where I DID get this one from; because if this isn't some infringement of the godly exclusive icon-land, then I'd like to keep using it, if we can prove that this isn't the same one, or that it was posted for the taking.

If it IS that one, I offered to give her friend credit. She doesn't sound like she'll go for that; she was like "I don't care. But my friend would." It's like... ugh. If your friend has a problem, THEN let her tell me. Don't bug me if there's no known issue.

It was pleasant, thanks. I went to my aunt's; we used not to get along because we're so much alike, but we do now that I'm older. And she's an AMAZING cook.
