I'm glad the recipe was enticing. I'm something of a vegetarian so I often bake my stuffing too. I put a cover on the dish, but it still gets a little crispy on top.
I've been looking at some of the reviews and reactions on various boards. I'm still amazed at how polarized they are. I guess I can understand Rentheads who didn't like it being angry since they have a lot invested in it, but some of the others baffle me.

Could the Cliff end up with the same legendary status as the Spork?

There's something about Adam that just invites this kind of thing. Maybe it's that he has such a wild sense of humor himself.

I thought he was sin pantalones in that first capture...now wonder y'all like the movie, I was gonna say.
Adam highlights from The View today:
He got into the story of how his friend, Idina's then boyfriend, told him about Rent. Taye got this pouty expression on his face, and Adam said, "Yes, she was with other men before you."
Someone brought up the story of Taye running around the theater naked after he got the part in "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," and Adam said he called in a sexual harassment complaint to the union.

And he was the first one out, too! That was cool.
I need to backtrack for a sec, here... Chloe, do you roast the walnuts before they go into the dressing, or just use them right out of the bag?
Hi Allie! Right out of the bag. They don't seem to need to be roasted or toasted first, but it might be interesting to try.
Also, in the Life article that came out today, Adam was quoted that when he was in the show he didn't understand people's visceral reaction to it, but "now I know that when you watch it, whatever your individual issues are, you feel like a little bit of something has been lifted off your shoulders. And that's so rare."
This reminded me so much of what Nia wrote in her review on the main board that I posted it there too.

Oh, I am SO making this dressing tonight. I'm not the greatest cook, but I'll let you know how it turns out!
I hope somebody scans the article soon. I can't wait to read it. I printed Nia's review off for a friend. I recently got him interested in Angels in America, and I thought he would especially like to read that part.
Last night, I had a conversation online with a friend I haven't spoken to in over two years! One of those people that you have on your buddy list or whatnot, but just never talk to. His screename on MSN Messenger last night said that he was going to Rent later. So I just messaged him and said, "From one theatre lover to another, I hope you love this movie!" When he came back, he messaged me back, and we talked for over an hour, about the movie, and just catching up. It was really nice, and sort of made me appreciate the movie even more. I had to explain some things to him, because he only knows Rent from the Highlights version of the OBCR. The funniest thing was when he went, "Who played Mark? He was in Charlie Brown!!" and also, "I liked Maureen on the Broadway CD better than in the movie."

Well I'm kind of excited that you're trying my dressing. I hope you like it! It's hard for me to imagine it without cranberry sauce though, so maybe you need to make that too. I'm going to have leftovers tonight.
How great that your friend enjoyed the movie and you got back in touch because of it. Very appropriate. I thought Nia's review was great. I love those kind of personal reflections. The first guy who reviewed it on Ain't It Cool News had a similar (even longer) story to tell of a journey with the show. Those two and Emcee's are my favorite pieces of writing about it.
I'm off for a while - see you later!

I actually love canned cranberry sauce. I'll add it to my grocery list!
I'm off, too. Talk to you later!
Anyone here?
*sigh* Another of my friends fell for Adam... I don't know what to think.

Adam's witty comments from The View made me crack up this morning! Those guys! *yawn* I'm awfully tired today. I did a lot of cleaning. Cleaning sucks.
psst... Anyone here?
I just came back from seeing the movie.

Pssst... I'm always here! First time seeing it? How'd you like it?
I'm here too! And I've seen it two times now! Mom took me to a 9:25 showing last night, and she lurrrved it!

Aw, yay! I might go again tomorrow. I've gotten a couple emails from friends saying that they really liked it.
Speaking of movies, I just finished watching The Sound of Music. The hills are aliiiive...

I still want to go again, just still can't find anyone to go with. (Ps. Allie, I saw my mistake from last night about the gym thing and it made me laugh SO hard.) My mother is in love with Adam's hair in the film. It's quite funny. This morning, watching the view she was like what is this!? Where is the hair?

Ahahaha, Luv! I was like, "Gym? Noooo waaaay!"
I quite like the movie hair, too. But I still like it now better, I think.
Remember when so many people were stressing over the long hair? Fans seem to become very attached to however he looked when they first saw him, especially his hair. The trouble is, he changes his hair about every two weeks. Some of you may not know that it was once blue.
