Alright ladies, I have to get going to meet my family for Thanksgiving. Have a lovely holiday!

I sort of wish they had put "Thank you Jonathan Larson" at the beginning of the credits, because both times, I was the only one to stick around for the whole thing.
Bye, Emcee, have a great holiday!

Sure, leave the poor Canadian girl all alone here while you all go eat turkey and pie. I'll just... heat up this leftover pizza...
Happy thanksgiving all!
Yeah, even seeing the film w/ the family yesterday was different, as they all love Rent but haven't been living in Rent/broadway world the way I was, and yeah, I made them stay for the Thank You Jonathan Larson, my sisters laughed at me for that, stupid bums.
As far as high school friends, I don't even know how many I can get to see it. Well I have a friend who is a big Rent fan not bway so her I could probably take, but she thinks I'm crazy for seeing the show 7 times and she's like you've got to be one of the most obsessed, craziest fans, and I was like you have no idea...
Working on other friends, but the common reaction from them might be I didn't like the idea that they randomly burst into song...
Well in late Dec. I'm taking one of my b/f who knows like nothing about it but through me has been dying to see the show so I'm anxious to see that, to also finally get a true reaction from someone I'm close w/ who knows nothing about the song.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Thanks, Elphie. I really want some!
Maybe I can settle for some baked chicken breasts and Stove Top dressing, though. It's much easier!
Happy Thanksgiving you all! <33
As of now I've seen RENT twice, my Renthead friend at an advanced screening (we're seeing again next Saturday), and then last night after class with two of my girlfriends who have seen the stage production but aren't die hard fans. I plan to see it with my mother which will just be an altogether interesting experience--my selectively homophobic mother. Haha. I'm dying to see her reactions.

I just got back from seeing it again! Still amazing, lol. I watched Adam closer this time to try and see if there were any weak spots, but honestly, I couldn't find one. He is a great actor, better than most of the teen stars on the WB. His performance was beautiful and I think that anyone who says he sucks probably didn't like him to begin with, and aren't giving him a fair chance.
I think I'll see it again tomorrow. Just have to choose which theater here on Long Island will have the best equipment and most responsive crowd. I don't want to see it with homophobe snickerers if I can help it, and around here that's something of a crap shoot. Even though it's so close to NYC, most of the island is much more conservative. Well, it should be interesting.
Allie, have some cranberry sauce and walnut stuffing, my Thanksgiving favorites.
I wanted to see it again tonight, but when I asked my parents if they would drive me to the movies they looked at me like I was high. Ah well...

Thanks, Chloe! I've never had walnut stuffing. I've always wanted to try some new dressing/stuffing recipes, but nobody in my family will ever let me.
I'm trying to stay away from the theatre until next Friday, but I have doubts about my willpower.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I'm seeing the movie at 3:30 tomorrow! My mom just pre-ordered the tickets online.

Well, in case you ever get the chance, here's how I make walnut stuffing. I like to use unflavored croutons, which are hard to find, so I often make my own by cutting up whole wheat bread into cubes and toasting it in the oven (12 cups after toasting). Then I saute onions and celery (1 cup each) in butter and olive oil (6 tbls in all) and add them to the croutons, along with walnuts (cup or so) salt (1 1/2 teas), pepper (1/4 teas), poultry seasoning (2 teas)and chicken stock (1 cup+). If you're baking it in the oven instead of stuffing the turkey, use more chicken stock.
Hm, talk about OT! But maybe someone will want to try it, it's really good.

That sounds so good! I may have to make some, just for me! Just cook it in a casserole dish until it's all good and hot, and probably crispy on top, Chloe?
My family always makes dressing with potatoes in it. Cook the potatoes, add poultry seasoning (and a few other spices, but I can't remember which ones) and toasted bread cubes, and mash everything together. Cook until crispy on top!
I just copy/pasted your recipe, Chloe, thanks!
Oh my gosh, Cloe, that sounds amazing!
I'm seeing the movie again on Sunday with my dad! He's so excited, which I find hilarious.
Happy Turkey Day, y'all!
I'm seeing the movie tomorrow at 2:00!

This is the first time I didn't over eat on Thanksgiving. WOW. Probably because I don't feel like going to the gym tomorrow. I wanna go see Rent again...no one will go with me though .
