Finally, something on ATC that's not bitter and scathing.

DEGRASSI!

Just had to get ~FF~'s attention. Jr. High is not as good as Degrassi High. And even before that, they had the Kids of Degrassi St. show, which I've never seen, except for clips on TV specials. Speaking of which, are you Canadian, FloweryFriend? Earlier this year, they did a W5 episode on Degrassi, and had Stefan Brogren interviewing cast mates, including Neil Hope (Wheels), who they had to track down. It was SO good. I'll try to tape it for you if they ever do a rerun. Also, check out my fan photos for a picture of me with Stefan, and Pat Mastroianni. Cliff Adam I love them!

And her name is actually Sue Jo Hansen, I think, but when she started to get popular in the States, she stuck the Jo onto her last name.

Not bitter and scathing, but, geez, that messageboard is difficult to maneuver! *pets BWW*

Yeah, I also dislike their format.

Depending on what you mean by format, you can change from "flat mode" to "threaded mode".

Yeah, but even when it's in flat mode, it looks weird. I also get confused without avatars. We have more personality!

Yeah, avatars do add much more personality. It's weird how much you associate a person with their avatar.

I was just remembering the first night I posted on this thread. It was the night we had that really deep discussion about homosexuality and that quote Anthony had made about his preferences. That was fun. *reminices*

I actually prefer the threaded mode when I'm over there. I do like seeing all our pretty pictures here.

It was a great discussion. And Anthony's quote was so interesting. I'm going to try and find the page it was on.

If any of you haven't seen the thread called "Anthony and Tracie Q&A" over at CB, you should definitely check it out. Some very funny stuff, including the infamous Adam/Anthony bathroom fight. Also, a couple of things to (hopefully) look forward to on the DVD:

"And speaking of gag reel, when they were filming TMOLM, at the point where they walk out of one of the rooms, they kept filming and for some reason hadn't called cut but Idina and Tracie were off camera in the other room so Adam and Rosario take over and just go all out into TMOLM.

Theres an Alternate ending that will be on the DVD (not like another ending but I believe its just filmed a diferent way)"

I still hold that that little snit is pornography begging to happen.

I need to see the TMOLM take. Those are DAMNED high notes.

I hope they really go all out for the DVD. Did you guys watch the MTV Hits video (it was posted on the main board) - definitely some funny stuff.

I saw some of it when it was on but wasn't able to tape it. It was fun.

Pornography waiting to happen, Emcee? You mean for all the slash writers I take it.

Yep, slash.

UGH. I'm 25 words away from my limit, and about 293409384093 words away from being satisfied with what I've written. Cliff Adam

*snicker* I snuck mention of Adam in, though.

is your article more of an interview, or article with quotes?

Good for you! I'm sure you're being understandably hypercritical about this. Are you taking an "impersonal interviewer" stance or including some of your personal connections to the show and movie?

Well, I haven't found it. Reading back is fun though! I'm finding discussions about the Roomonster. Remember her? And lots of other fun stuff.

Because there are three OTHER interviews running in the same issue, it would be too monotonous to do a straight question/answer interview; so we're going for "feature article" with quotes pulled.

I have an 8 and a half page transcript, and I want to include as many of his words as I can, because this is about him, not about me... as much as I'd like to profess my love for the movie, this isn't really the place to do it... there's just not physical room. I wouldn't have felt comfortable writing a review, nor was I asked to. I think the way that I present his comments and the light in which I present them can certainly shed a bit of light on my opinion -- how I surround them, propose them, etc, will certainly give some twinge of optimism and agreement, I'm sure.

That said, the example I was given was a bit cliche, highlighting how hip, relaxed and cool-New-Yorker the guy was... what he was wearing, and how normal he was. Hell, I don't even REMEMBER what he wore. So, off the bat, I didn't make this a human interest/how how is the blonde boy?! piece. It's about the work, and about how committed he is to it... basically slanted toward the challenge of translation from stage to screen. I think that's forcing it to become impersonal, and in a way, MORE impersonal than I would like it to be, and stylistically, it's a bit bland; but because I'm trying to keep MY words to a minimum, and either paraphrasing or quoting my subject more often than not, I think that's the way it has to be.

(So, no, no mention of any rendezvous that may or may not have occurred. Cliff Adam )

Right now I'm fifty words over my "suggested" length. And you know what? I'm going to keep going. Someone else can be responsible for cutting it at this point. I'm giving them what I think is important. I know that's stubborn of me, but this is too important for me to short-change.

Well, the article will appear online. Because my first and last name are going to be on it, I won't feel comfortable posting it, but I will PM it to you guys. Also, I'm willing to send out the transcript as a Word document, if you want. Just PM me your e-mail address.

Which clip is that?

And speaking of Anthony, I just pre-ordered his book, and also Cybele's cookbook. Even though it's mainly for people with allergies, I'm curious to see it.
