Which clip is that?

And speaking of Anthony, I just pre-ordered his book, and also Cybele's cookbook. Even though it's mainly for people with allergies, I'm curious to see it.

Chloe, did you see the link to the LJ community that found the future Rent blog videos? It's back a few pages, and there's one where they ask Adam how he prefers his hair.

I have to get that book! For a legit, dietary reason!

did someone mention nut allergies the other day or am I making that up?

I do have a reason for bringing this up if it was someone over here.

Right, I saw those videos, just thought it was Rosario talking about the mirror. (There are times when I wish she were just a little less talkative.)

Here's a link for her book -

oh ok because I saw something on the news....I think it was last night, about how a 15 year old girl died from kissing her boyfriend. She was allergic to nuts and he had just had peanut butter. Cliff Adam

I saw that, too, Fantabulous. I think it happened in Quebec. Very scary.

Yeah. Rosario and Adam aren't really a good pair, because she's so much more outgoing and talkative than he is. He literally just sits there unless he's spoken to. No initiative.

My mom told me about that; it's something I've been very afraid of for a REALLY long time.

*snicker* Well, I'm almost to 1000 words. ah, well. Almost done. While half-asleep this morning, I thought of a great idea to conclude, but did I write it down? Nope.

Yeah. It's not even two pages, so I think I've done a commendable job of condensing it.

I was never one to follow directions very well. The situation always goes something like this: there are the directions. Then there's MY version of how I want to carry out the directions.

People don't really like that.

I'm similar to you, Emcee. Can't take working with a micro-manager. I've learned to make it seem like I'm more or less following directions while going my own way to a certain extent.

I think Adam has done fine in situations like the Symphony Space Q&A, Sirius and even The View for the most part. He had a lot of fun with Toni Senecal on Ch 11 because they are old friends. It seems like he tends to freeze up more when he's being fed canned questions, or questions from someone he doesn't feel connected to. With Rosario, she's far more loquacious than he is, and even jumps in in the middle of his answers sometimes. Maybe he just gave up? He didn't seem annoyed with her, though.

DONE! Clocking in 18 minutes late and 200 words over.

He didn't seem annoyed with Rosario at all; it definitely looks like she amuses him quite a bit. She just talks a lot, and sort of eats the attention. I don't think I've ever really noticed him jumping to chat the way she does, though. She's a lot more animated, whereas he's just straight-forward. You're right, though. He has to be interested in the interview; kind of like he has to like his co-star in order to have chemistry and not be a lump on a log.

Yay for the 6th!

I just looked at the Hair video again, and I totally missed that Adam said "well I don't know about that" after Rosario said he wouldn't be looking in the mirror so much after cutting his hair. The epitome of Adam.

Another example for me was when he was asked if doing the Rent movie had gotten him any more film work, and he said "It hasn't yet." 99 actors out of 100 could not have put it that way. They would have continued with "but I've got some really interesting possibilities" or something similar.

Yeah, sometimes I don't realize how much attention and how we associate others w/ their avatars. Recently I met someone who was like I know you're a girl, but it's still so weird b/c I really am just used to the idea that you look just like Gerard Butler(I wish for slightly self dirty reasons...but yeah another story...)

Congrats Em! Are you sure you're happy w/ them cutting, I mean is there a specific part you could kinda circle and say w/e you do, don't take this out or something?

Honestly, I've never found Adam shy...both in person and on interviews I've found him quite outgoing and talkative...though it's funny how recently I realized just how much he stutters in interviews, trying to find the right words...I mean in a group setting I suppose he needs to be specifically asked, but not that many don't...i dunno.

I gotta catch up on the clips...

Congratulations on finishing - I'm sure it's great.

Adam jumped in quite a bit on Sirius, like when Seth said he was obsessed with Idina's cat suit, and Adam said "So am I." Also of course on Anthony's dessert question. Cliff Adam

That's because Seth has a crush on him. Cliff Adam And Adam likes attention. Cliff Adam

He does really well when he can bounce off of the others. I just feel so sad for him watching really stiff, uncomfortable interviews.

One of two times that I've been close to alone with him, he's been a lot less of an "attention whore." When he's being hounded for autographs and things, he soaks it up so easily, and so well. When it's quiet, though, he's much subtler.
