Some of my friends think it's cool. Some of them just think it's weird.
I think most of mine are just perplexed - and its hard when something exciting happens and I want to tell them but they're just pretty ambivalent or weirded out. I guess thats why you guys are here - you care about the exciting stuff
I don't discuss my internet addiction with my friends.
we should all learn from Mandi
Well, eventually I have to explain where I go all the time, and who I hang out with.
I've never met anyone I know from the net...so when and if I ever do, I might have to explain it. Until then, no one needs to know.
They do wonder why I run off every 15 minutes to check my e-mail after school though...hmm...

Yeah I have net friends that I have become extremely close with as well. That's probably because I don't really have any friends in school because of reasons that I don't really like to talk about...but that's another story. I guess I just feel like I can connect more with people from the internet and that they are less likely to judge you because of stupid things. I've found that internet people can be a lot less superficial than people who are actually around you in person all the time. I love all my net buddies so much! *hugs*

I don't normally talk about Broadway stuff with my real life friends - I have a really hard time talking about things that mean a lot to me with my real life friends. It's weird. I've had some really good times with people I've met from band message boards. I have a lot more fun with them than I ever have with my real life friends.
I haven't really made any Broadway friends (yet) because I lurk more than I post, but those of you that I've interacted with have been nothing but nice to me, and I'm thankful for that.
My friends mostly think it's weird but they know how much I love this stuff and that I need *someone* to talk about it all with who shares my excitement.

I feel the same way a lot of you do about the internet. I think I've actually become a better writer since posting on message boards (although I definitely don't use proper grammar when writing posts, writing basically anything helps to improve one's writing skills) and it's great to interact with people that have the same interests.
I generally don't discuss my everyday life on the internet -- *that's* what I discuss with my "real-life" friends -- but it's nice to speak with people who know what it's like to really enjoy a certain thing, whether it be an actor, a sport, or a certain band. (On another note, I've also become very hesitant to give out details on my real life on the 'net since I've had problems with people online... yeah, not cool. I say that you can never be too paranoid on the internet!)
bumping the Adam love before *gasp* he falls into page-2-land
*LOVE!*
I love the interenet, mostly. BWW has completely changed my life.

bringing over somes silliness from livejournal:
Does anyone know what extras/sepcial features/deleted songs are going to be released on the DVD? For example, I know the rest of "Goodbye Love" is going to be on there, but what about songs like Christmas Bells, Contact and Halloween? I know they shot "Contact", but took it out of the film in order to get a PG-13 rating due to "Contact"'s explicit sexual lyrics.
Oy...how rumors begin...
Then someone asked:
Where did you hear that they shot "Contact"?
And someone responded:
"The song "Contact", sung by both Roger (Adam Pascal) and Mimi (Rosario Dawson) was originally in the film, however, due to the explicit sexual lyrics in the song, producers decided to cut it out of the final release in order to get a PG-13 rating from the MPAA board, rather than an "R" rating."
Ummm...since when do Roger and Mimi sing Contact? Silliness
So. Dead. Wrong.
They started trying to stage it, and gave up.
hmmm....well I want my money back then, cause quite obviously I got a "wrong" edition of my OBC recording!!

yea and then there were about 15 comments and no one had the correct info so I added that Contact was kinda rehearsed but then dropped
I hate people.
aww Em don't hate people...just the silly people
I hate silly/dumb/annoying/obnoxious people.
better I concur but would like to add people who walk too slowly on the streets of Manhattan. I hate them too.
I hate people who walk slowly ANYWHERE, but I especially hate people who walk slowly while smoking. I can't get around them. Please, keep your stick of death to yourself. Thanks.
