Yeah, that's it exactly Em. Small gap, but nonetheless, it's there.
Beneath A Velvet Sky was one of the fav three I had at first. All this talk of this CD is making me put it on!
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Thanks ontheskyway! Makes me smile to remember that night!
I would say it's a bit more hard rockish than what we're used to from him. Not sure what group I would compare it to, though.

Wow, I can't believe you guys have old Adam CD's! That is so cool, I've been looking everywhere for them online, I wish I had $100.00 to spend on the e-bay one, lol. I've always wanted to hear his old stuff though, any chance you guys would be willing to share?
I have a bunch of his old stuff, but I don't really know what it is. I have songs that are good quality, and named, but I have no idea which band they're from -- if someone could help, that would be excellent. I think they might be mute, but they're called Tomorrow, Open Your Eyes and If We Life. The other stuff I have is either demo of bootleg stuff, and I have no idea even what the songs are called, but they're presumably from Wine and Vision. It's all quite good, though.

According to the Adam site with the sound clips of his old stuff, the three songs you mentioned, Em, are all Adam Pascal Band songs. The clips are GREAT.
He's so original, that Adam.

Wow, how did you get that stuff Em? I've seriously looked everywhere (I want to have like every song that's ever come out of the man's mouth, lol).
I'm not sure. I've just sort of picked them up along the way. I wish I knew what they were, and stuff -- no dates, locations, nothing.
I'm feeling tempted by that Mute CD, though I've never gotten anything from eBay before, I'm not even registered with them.
Adam's relationship with his mom sounds so much like the LI Jewish guys I know - the cringing coupled with the weekly visits. They seem to be somewhat fraught relationships. The mothers are very proud yet critical, the sons very loving yet... critical.
It's so typical-Long-Island-Jew. I didn't want to say it, but it is! It's also really typical of Jewish mothers to, you know, be loving-but-a-big-embarassment, because they make such a huge deal of how proud they are.
I think so too. I was semi-part of a big LI Jewish family for a while, and it feels very similar.
I remember you posting that he's only half Jewish though - you think his father's side is not?
Well, being that it was just something I read, it may not be true. But I think it is.
Most of my relatives are from or have lived in some part of LI and one time or another -- we're such a bunch of stereotypes.
I'm such a LI minority - a white Protestant.

Ah, he loves his mommy! Okay, mother-son relationships are cute, lol. I am gonna continue to procrastinate studying for finals by looking at Adam pictures, listening to Rent, and posting on here instead. So, Em, any chance that you'd be willing to share the glory that is Adam's earlier work? I really can't find it anywhere, lol. I'll name my first-born after you and everything
Sure, PM me your AIM screenname. That's the best way to transfer it.

Shiksa, your kid will get made fun of if you name it "luvtheEmcee". No offense, Em.
I think I'm an official internet addict. I was reading a definition in the Times the other day, and I'm in there on some middle, intermediate level.
hey Em, any chance you could take a sec away from "writing your paper" and send me some early Adam stuff as well?

Awwwww. I only get the Times on Sunday. I'd probably be right at the top. I'm so addicted! It's totally BWW's fault too. :P What would I do with out you guys though?
Em, would you be willing to send me those files too?
Heh, I know I'm an Internet addict, and I'm afraid to get some sort of official definition of that.

Message sent, and maybe I'll shorten it to just "Emcee", lol, then the other kids won't be so mean, but the birth certificate will have the full name

Sounds like a good plan, Shiksa. Or even just Em!
or MC - change it up a bit
Sure, but I can only do one file transfer at a time. Maybe Shiksa Goddess can send them to you as she gets them from me?
Chloe, what were the levels?
