Em has a deep throat - draw your own conclusions! *SLURPLESLURPLE*

Trying to divert my mind from stupid main board topics..

I know Em would love to see Adam as Billy so I started thinking of a role I think he could do a good job in...what about Chris in Miss Saigon? I'm getting chills imagining his "Just her" at the end of "Why." Twould also be kinda funny watching him jump all over the fence and helicopter and stuff during "Fall of Saigon."
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

The main board makes me want to kick something. The people going on and on about how they saw it in a screening and hated it but bought a ticket anyway to support it are just pissing me off to no end. I'd probably get crucified for saying this on the main board, but they're acting as if by plunking down those 10 bucks, they purchased the right to say as many nasty things about the movie and everyone who liked it as they want.

It'll be interesting to see what Adam's next career move is. I was just thinking about how awesome it would be if one of his songs were used during an important scene in some popular TV show and it really sparked an interest.

Oh, and Billboard Girl, I agree. I wanted to say to that person -- whoever it was -- who was like "I hated it at BOTH screenings I went to, and I still paid to see it on opening day!... I just wanted to be like "well, doesn't that make you a saint?" That's ridiculous. They did it, so they should be able to act like this?

Awwwww. Good luck with that Em.

I spend a very limited amout of time on the main board. Sometimes I feel bad. Like I should use this board more for what it was intended for. But...this is so much more fun....

Em, I hope your shower situation works out. I'll never forget what happened to me one time last year...

[flashback]I was having a really bad day (stressing over a paper + being way past the breaking point in dealing with my roommate, etc.) and just needed to take a shower. I turned on the water, pulled the little knob on the faucet that makes the water come out of the showerhead, and BOOM! The faucet literally fell off the wall. I didn't know whether to break down in tears or laugh at the Murphy's Law absurdity of it all. Fortunately, my dorm room had 2 bathrooms because there were 5 of us, so I was able to take a shower in the other bathroom. Still, explaining to maintenance that they needed to come fix my shower NOW because the faucet fell off was not an enjoyable experience.[/flashback]

I probably spend more time on the main board but post more here. Sometimes the main board intimidates me a bit because I feel like everyone knows a lot more about theater than I do (I tend to be more of the "see a few shows a year and then buy the CD if I really liked the show" sort of person, but I feel like recently I've been starting to get more interested).

I think I spend more time on the main board, but maybe it just feels that way because I only participate very much in a few OT threads.

BSo, did you change the subject back?

Don't let the people intimidate you.
The people who see a lot and post even more, have no monopoly on the experience. Most of them are pretty full of it. Like ME! Em has a deep throat - draw your own conclusions! *SLURPLESLURPLE*
BsO, some of the best moments are the worst.

A bad shower experience can ruin a day.
That was funny Billboard.
I hope you get it fixed Em.

Um, what is up with the thread title?
I take that back, I don't want to know.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.
