I wanna see a picture of BSo! Will you put it back up? I think everyone should post pictures of themselves. *nods*

Order, oder, order in the court.
Yes, yes I have. Well, not in this thread, but other places, yes.
So, there!
Yes, I'm a camera whore..but not for very long durations. Idina usually replaces me.
But Idina's my lawyer!

Ooo, picture time! I am very camera shy, I don't think I have any pics of me on the computer
Damn, I missed BSo's picture? I'm disappointed.
I just got back from my family's Hanukkah party (yeah, Hanukkah is still a week away, but we're going away on vacation and we do everything ahead of time anyway). Between having to deal with the adults all asking me how finals are going and nearly being trampled by the army of 6-year-olds eager to open their presents, I think I need to lie down. At least I got a bunch of awesome gifts and the people I bought things for all absolutely loved what I picked out.
I haven't begun my holiday shopping yet! oops.
me neither. I really need to get crackin' on that...
Ugh. I was talking my parents about my computer today, and when I send it away, not only will the time span a weeend, but it'll span Christmas -- I'm assuming that's going to slow the turnaround time, so I could be without it for like a week. F*ck.
oh no! whatever shall we do?
I really don't know what I'm going to do! AHHHHH. And even though there's a 90% chance I'm going to buy a Mac anyway, I think I will want to go to the store and buy it (or at least talk to someone before I order one online) but I won't go near a shopping mall until after Christmas. So....
Talk to me about Macs, Emcee. I know a certain amount...
So far I don't have that many specific questions, but I think I'll also want to go and just have a look at the different sizes and things.
What size is your laptop, though?
you should go to the apple store in soho...can you get there before christmas?
My laptop is an old iBook, with the "shell" design (also known as the toilet seat). I'm waiting to get a new one until they start putting out ones with the new Intel chip. I've got to decide whether or not I want one powerful enough to run Pro Tools.
Just a few days ago, though, I got a new iMac for home. It's WONDERFUL!
hahaha. I know which design you're talking about. Now they come in 12, 15 or 17 inch widths, and I'm not sure which I want.
15"- not as heavy as the 17", but still good for DVD viewing.
I guess you do need to see them to get an idea which would be best for you. My assistant whom you met has the 17 inch version. It's pretty necessary for our kind of work. Otherwise, it's just a matter of personal taste.
ETA: I had the weirdest dream last night, with Emcee and Raúl in it.

Do tell!
I like the 12 inch because it's so compact, but I'm afraid I might get annoyed with the smallness after I'm done think it's "cute."
