Adam's Slow Lovin'

It's a Mac. My dad decided a while ago that he didn't want to put me through any more crap with the PC; he's still trying to fight with IBM about what they'll do about it, but he can work on that without rush now. We were sort of afraid that even if it was "fixed," I'd be sitting on a time bomb. He "revoked" his decision because he was in a nasty mood -- long story.

It doesn't have a name yet!

Ah, you left that last bit out.

Well, your life appears to be looking up. I eavesdropped on the Raul Love thread and it appears that you'll be seeing Chitty another time or two after all.

Yay for a mac - I want one. Is it pretty?

Heh at the idea of Adam actually getting into Internet arguments. I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that it's true, based on the way he talked about the Internet and crazy fans and such in that interview video from the press junket that I think is somewhere on this site.

*waves to Em's new computer*

So, a little lesson I'd like to share with you guys (although it probably won't be useful until a few months from now): No matter how much sunscreen you're wearing, don't think that you can just sit out in the sun for hours. Sun poisoning ****ing hurts - my knees feel like they're on fire. And of course my mom, instead of being sympathetic towards me while I'm in agony, is taking this opportunity to yell at me about how I didn't listen to her about going inside or reapplying sunscreen. Yippee. Well, at least it's distracting her from yelling at me about how much time/money I've spent on the Internet on this cruise.

Heh. I can just imagine him... "WHY DO THEY KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE NOTE I'M MISSING IN AIDA?!" But, yeah, if he indeed did engage in chatroom arguments, I'm sad I missed them.

Emcee, yay for your new computer! And BG, I'm sorry to hear about that! Feel better. Unsympathetic parents are no fun.

Sun POISONING? What?

I'm currently researching battery acid and it's quite poisonous. I knew it was bad, but I didn't realize it could burn through concrete.

I seem to remember either an interview or a blog semi-recently with Adam saying something like "back then I used to get online ... who cares what the reviews say, but I cared about what the 12 year olds on the internet said" ... something like that?

"Sun POISONING? What?"

I actually have a rash all over my legs from sitting out in the sun for too many hours. According to my mom, that's not a regular sunburn, it's sun poisoning.

That's the interview I'm talking about! I'm pretty sure it was put on this site right around the time the movie was released.

Yes, he was talking about getting into fights with 12-year-olds. I have no idea if he did that hiimself or was going from someone else's experience, though. I've never heard of him doing something like that, and I've done a lot of googling.

Lulu? That's cute! I don't know what to call this. Roger Junior?

Adam's Slow Lovin'

I'm not sure a Mac would want to be called "Junior," but Radames is a little... exotic. Maybe you should call him Emcee. He would feel such kinship with you that way.
#10792

Adam's Slow Lovin'

you could go with just "rad" for short ... people will think you're crazy but it could be fun. :)
#10793

Adam's Slow Lovin'

It will be so nice to have a computer who feels kinship with me! I think once I get used to it (I get really upset by change at first) I'm going to like it very much. I've been a PC hugger FOREVER.

Adam's Slow Lovin'

Hey! I am not an infantomaniawhatsits! I just really would like a baby. Adam's Slow Lovin' Okay, Nia, here's why: I don't know why I love them, but I do. They are truly miraculous, if you think about it. They're so...small. And perfect, and I want to be able to watch one grow up and learn about the world. Stuff like language comprehension fascinates me. Also, I've always loved and done really well with kids, and there isn't a more peaceful feeling in the world than having a baby fall asleep in your arms. So, that's that. If you have any more questions/concerns, feel free to ask. Adam's Slow Lovin'

*waves to Em's Mac* As my mom would say, "Tsurays gezunter hayt (tear/break in good health)". You should name him Raul, or Caractacus, it's only fair. :-P

haha, YES! Actually, I think you should name him (assuming it IS a him) CaracPot. That would really confuse people. Adam's Slow Lovin' On the other hand, you don't want to give him any ideas.

Until I can get it onto the wireless network, I have to, sort of, but I think I'll get that fixed up tomorrow.
