It's never really bugged me until now. I just want to plunge my hand into the computer and rearrange the names.

I think Joanne must be the best looking out of all of them.

But good thing it isn't, because although we love our RENT, we also love our money.

I feel like I'm in the minority here, but with the exceptions of Rosario and Anthony, I think the cast looks better on the DVD cover than on the soundtrack covers - in fact, I think Adam looks kinda scary on the soundtrack cover. I prefer the overall look of the soundtrack cover, but the cast pictures on the DVD cover are better.

Weird, but it does make sense. Rosario and Taye are the cast members that Stereotypical Blockbuster Customer is most likely to recognize when trying to decide which movies to get.

To be honest, I don't think Adam looks especially good in most of the promo-type shots for the film. I saw a low-quality photo of a Rent movie poster from Israel where Adam looked good, his hands were behind his head and he was all smiley. Other than that, I'm ambivalent toward most of his film photos. I generally think Taye is attractive and I don't think he looks so great, either.

gah, i don't like the cover! i don't hate it, but it is way TOO busy and woah. They could've got WAY better pictures of everyone...i'm dissapointed with Adam's picture, it looks like it was taken and he wasn't ready or something.

yea i agree...it should have been like the bible, black and silver and SIMPLE! I think they should've had the black and silver RENT logo and then a picture underneath of all of them [in black and white (maybe)] oh well

Maybe I'm an idiot, but weren't we able to pre-order the DVD via amazon on Friday? I remember thinking that I'd pre-order when I got home...but now I can't. Did I make up that memory?

I'm bored. Let me play around on PSP for a bit.

Well, here's one. I was going with colors, and then I went all black and white. I'll try to actually do a color one now.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the relatively subdued discussion of the DVD cover on the main board, but I'm worried that it's just the calm before the storm.

On another note, is it wrong that I really wish I could start classes tomorrow and save up the last week of my break for when I'll really need it? I just want to be back in the city, in my dorm, and my parents selfishly don't want to accept that because they "don't get to see me all that often" and "just like having me around." Bull****. During the school year, we usually see each other about once a week since I go to school so close to home, and all they've been doing while they "have me around" is drag me to go out to eat at every possible opportunity and yell at me for staying up later than they do. I'm beginning to understand exactly how the animals in the zoo must feel. Thank God I won't have to live at home this summer.
