"I can't put my finger on one specific issue, but it's just an overall attitude most people seem to have. For example, I posted the link to the BWW video (with the interviews on the red carpet) earlier today, stating that my computer unfortunately wouldn't allow me to fast forward through Ken making an ass of himself early in the video (apologies to anyone who found him amusing, I just didn't). Someone felt the need to snap at me, saying that if I watched his other shows instead of "just this one because of the Rent people," I'd realize that he's actually hilarious. Well, sorry that I don't watch every single show known to man and that I didn't find the man funny."
I think that the people who act like that have some sort of need to "prove" that they're not just a stereotypical Renthead and they're interested in other Broadway-related things. I can understand that sentiment, but the way a lot of them go about expressing it veers into rudeness.
"Meanwhile, everyone ignores the fact that there are 294083243 icon posts (like you said, BG) and doesn't feel a need to snap on them for posting yet more icons."
Exactly. I mean, all of those icons just start looking the same after a while.
princesskatt, I think the Wicked explosion on the main board has to do with quite a few cast members doing their last show today.
Night, Snowbird.
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time."
