Yikes, time to catch up with everything I missed in the past 2 hours, since my mom decided she wanted to watch my favorite TV shows with me (and for anyone who was watching House, did you laugh inappropriately at a certain dramatic/romantic speechy moment too?

My half birthday is in December, so I can usually wrangle an extra Hanukkah present out of it. What's really funny is that my dad's birthday is my brother's half birthday (and vice versa, obviously), so my family always makes a big deal about that.

Heh, my mom still has birthday cards from her childhood. How that woman has the nerve to call me a pack rat, I'll never know.

Again, WORD. If I see those two on the cover of one more magazine, I think I'll puke.
And I definitely agree with the typecasting comments, although I think lazy studios just looking to make the same generally palatable, profitable story over and over are also to blame for that. It's amazing how they'll make the same bland romantic comedy that they did 2 years ago but just insert the latest "it people" in the lead roles, and the public just eats it up.
Yeah, the Hollywood pretty boys are certainly nice to look at, but swooning over them just makes me feel bad for being superficial. But hey, if they're going to cast pretty people in a TV show that has an interesting concept, I'm not going to complain.
Heh, I downloaded the NYTW audio somewhere, listened to Right Brain, and just had to stop because I couldn't take it.
