Hahaha, I forgot about that on Anthony's chatterbox. It was a very good chatterbox as was expected, I liked hearing his Yul Brenner story.
Well...I'm sure Brokeback's better...I would have enjoyed Producers though and major difference is I've already seen one and haven't seen the other. Not complaining, I certainly don't mind seeing BBM again but given the choice I would prefer Producers for the first time, that's all.

Yikes, time to catch up with everything I missed in the past 2 hours, since my mom decided she wanted to watch my favorite TV shows with me (and for anyone who was watching House, did you laugh inappropriately at a certain dramatic/romantic speechy moment too? )
My half birthday is in December, so I can usually wrangle an extra Hanukkah present out of it. What's really funny is that my dad's birthday is my brother's half birthday (and vice versa, obviously), so my family always makes a big deal about that.
"Hah! Sounds like my mom. She saves every single card I've ever given her."
Heh, my mom still has birthday cards from her childhood. How that woman has the nerve to call me a pack rat, I'll never know.
"I just have a huge adversion to the whole Hollywood... thing, in general terms. I hate how so much of Hollywood stardom *isn't* based on talent. There are certainly *great* film actors, but so much of what they can do is overshadowed by the gossip of the day. I hate that talent isn't top priority. "
WORD to the nth degree. I am so f**king sick of all of the "Young Hollywood" tabloid whoring.
"I'm a huge gossipwhore when it comes to certain things, but general Hollywood gossip isn't one of them (I am SO TIRED of the Angelina/Brad gossip! Enough!).
Again, WORD. If I see those two on the cover of one more magazine, I think I'll puke.
And I definitely agree with the typecasting comments, although I think lazy studios just looking to make the same generally palatable, profitable story over and over are also to blame for that. It's amazing how they'll make the same bland romantic comedy that they did 2 years ago but just insert the latest "it people" in the lead roles, and the public just eats it up.
Yeah, the Hollywood pretty boys are certainly nice to look at, but swooning over them just makes me feel bad for being superficial. But hey, if they're going to cast pretty people in a TV show that has an interesting concept, I'm not going to complain.
Heh, I downloaded the NYTW audio somewhere, listened to Right Brain, and just had to stop because I couldn't take it.
*Resumes planning of Boston trip*
Oh wow, I just turned on Right Brain and its making me crack up.
The right brain
How do I find the right brain
I lost my map
The right brain
It's when I get locked in
Find the right brain
Like driving north, Pacific Coast Highway
from San Simian to Big Sur
Find the right brain
The sight of the sky
The right brain
The sound of the ocean, the ocean
And Rent is weird too. The song is all about suicide
Its slower and it has awesome lyrics like this
If I threw my body out the window
brain all splattered guts all steaming in the snow
I wouldn't have to finish shooting films
that no one wants to show
Rent!
Yul Brenner is um...Yul Brenner? I don't know that much about him...but uh, Anthony was in The King and I with him when he was little, and he was really mean. One time he punched Anthony in the stomach, and another time he like yelled at him during a performance to speak louder.
