Welcome, Dancinqueen!
Snow tomorrow? Shiiiiiiiiit. At least I already brought most of my stuff to my dorm yesterday, but there go the plans to go out to dinner with my parents before settling back in - even though my dad's ankle is pretty much healed (he broke it in October), he's not going to feel safe walking in snow, and if Dad is stuck at home, Mom will probably rush back to Queens as soon as we finish seeing RENT.
Selling SRO months in advance? That's crazy.
If anyone cares, I saw WIW last night. We left our tickets at home. We went up to the theater, and then they told us that we should go back down to the BO. The man at the BO was no help and sent us back upstairs to the House Manager. The House Manager said that we should tell an usher what are seat numbers were, and then the usher would seat us. We found an usher who told us to go to the House Manager. After telling her that we already had, we told her our seat numbers and we finnaly were able to sit down. At least we enjoyed the show.
At least they let you in without the tickets!
Awww, I missed the pictrues of Fantab and sweetsiren.
<----That's me, in case people haven't figured it out. :-P
That's true.
Elphie, don't cry! If you really want to see me, I can email you the picture
Finally caught up on all I missed yesterday....Fantab, in the same memoir style (well, i HOPE it's a memoir) as "pieces," a few years ago I read "A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer. It's the first of a few. Has some hard to stomach stuff but at the same time it's rather inspiring.
As far as fiction goes, I really liked "My Sisters Keeper" by Jodi Piccoult. (...and lots of other things she's written too, but this one is my favorite...) It's about a younger sister who knows she was born to be a biological match for her older-sick-with-leukemia sister's bone marrow. It's amazing.
Hope you all have a good evening! I'm going to eat "breakfast for dinner" with a couple people. Wahoo! Since I'm not into eating at breakfast time, this is the perfect solution. :)
Oooh, yes! Email me, please!
thank god they let you in without tickets! Glad you enjoyed the show
im delayed, but i just read the past few pages..you're all really pretty =), and opiv you are so young haha.
Elphie, I LOVE your avatar picture. You're so cute, and Raul looks absolutely amazing there.
Did my picture not show up, or was it just too far back? I'm confused.

I think im actually the oldest one in that picture :)
I sound older when i say that i'll be driving in 4 months
me too ... just got back from dinner with my best friend and her boyfriend. Friendships change when one gets a boy and starts acting all weird.
Then I came home and saw that someone had posted pics of Adam with blue hair on livejournal. Wow. I had heard of them but I hadn't seen them. Ew. :)
Aww, that's too bad about your friend. I've seen those pictures too, they're interesting. I think his hair was too short to be bright blue, if it was a little longer I think it would've looked better.
hehe ... I guess it's safer when it's short cause if you decide to shave it all off or just ruin the hair it's easy to shave it off and start over.
True. I think that concert happened in between him leaving Rent in New York and him going to London, so it got bleached again pretty soon after that. I guess he just needed a change.
Guys, death metal type music is really bad.
Haha, and I just killed the thread.

death metal music? I get a headache just thinking about it!!! Were you out listening to it somewhere?
No. I'm at my boyfriend's house. Were were supposed to go do something, but then he had to babysit his nephew, so I just came over here. And his nephew is asleep, and so he put on his loud death metal music **** form Norway or something. =/
Gah. Of course, I play showtunes when he's at my house, so whatever.
And now he's playing xbox, and I got sick of watching him, so I hopped on his puter.
Especially the bands that wear masks and just scream. Ick
