If it makes you feel any better, she's not as pretty in person as she is on print and screen!
I'm jealous Tiff. Haha...but I did learn a heck of alot about the Mayor's Office of Film...and casting listing, etc from hunting down Jen Garner during 1330. And it all started with an email, to the right person.

*is totally confused because she's too lazy to go read back*
so, how is the weather everyone?
it's being stormy here.... no fun when you are trapped indoors...I'd rather be out in it
ha, me too, thespian!
Except for Michael Vartan. And some suspenseful movie.
If you go to the Directors Guild of America website, specifically for New York (or whatever state/county), there should be a listing of movies that are filming for the next few months. It's a great way of keeping a pulse on things!
Som, not much to tell. Jen was friendlier than many other celebs who've been through immigration before, and she had no problem standing in a long line-up. (Unlike one miss Sharon Stone, who can rot in hell.) I just asked her the requisite questions, got and charged her for her work visa, got her home address in Vancouver (very pretty area - I think she stayed in the same house for 'Catch And Release') and we made some small talk for a bit. Nothing too eventful, I'm afraid.
On the other hand, Cedric The Entertainer and his entourage now know me as the Stinky Bathroom Girl, and I never want to go to that set ever again!
Let's see thespian, um...you missed out on play-doh, grass, & glue talk, and then we started to talk about Alias, which lead to Vartan and Garner talk.
Tiff, don't you need a membership for that...I believe that's where my nice email contact got me info from.

Tiff I meant how is she less pretty in real life. But thanks anyway.
Atrias, they practically never have cool outfits anymore.
But...but that was practically the best part of the show! I've kind of lost my respect for Garner now that she's having Ben Affleck's baby.
ack, Ben Affleck. I don't get the appeal.
And nothing is terribly practical for Halloween. :/ I will forever remember that when I decided to dress up as Syd in Truth Be Told it was like 100 degrees outside, and I was in a turtleneck wool sweater. But my hair rocked...and my rope could have easily become a weapon.
*sigh* I can say I'm not thrilled about Afflect, but if the girl is happy, that's what truly matters.

Oh, oops. Well, she's got smooth skin, but she's actually quite pale and it's a bit blotchy. (Granted, this was off of a 2.5-hr plane ride from LA, and she was wearing a lot of make-up in Elektra.) Dark circles around the yes (both at the airport and on set.) She has an AMAZING figure, and she's really tiny and toned! Hair isn't as healthy as I thought it would be - a bit frizzy and strangle-y when the hair stylist hasn't gone through it for a half hour!
ETA: Marlene, I'm on the DGA website right now, and I think you're right, the film list is only available to members. Strangely, the Directors Guild of Canada site (which also lists locally-filmed Hollywood movies) is open to the public.
ETA2: Can I just say how much this "runaway productions" kerfuffle really pisses me off??? Who says the film industry should be exclusively in LA??

Oh, I always wanted to do that... I tried one year but couldn't find The Red Wig. Other option was the last episode of season one because The Blue Wig was available, but I couldn't spend that much money on pleather.

*hands atrias a sugar cookie*
you can't go wrong with sugar cookies
I missed the glue talk?? darnet! that's my expertise!
I didn't have a wig, I just got several bottles of that red spray in hair stuff and attacked my hair with it, since my hair was the right length. It was awful to put it on...
*passes out mint milanos* Well maybe you don't like mint milanos, oh well...I have chocolate chip too...any takers?

*munches cookie* I've never put that much effort into a Halloween costume. I usually come up with mine day-of.

I want a sugar cookie; I haven't had one in ages.
Marlene, did it make your hair all crusty?
Tiff, I'm glad even movie stars aren't perfect. Thanks for boosting my ego.
Right here, by my side! The o hasn't gotten a turn lately.
