i'm on a tour of the west coast... been gone since june 28th and i'm flying home from denver tomorrow. (i'm in vail right now)

The picture of the two of them is from the screening of that documentary at Tribeca. Raúl looked like heaven in a suit that night.

Wow, he really does look plastered in the one you linked, but what else are opening night parties for?

I know you're on a Raul high right now, but just wanted to mention that the IMDb RENT movie board has really gotten active in the last few weeks. Mostly RENThead teens, but also quite a number of people who have seen the trailer and post something like, "I don't know anything about RENT, but that trailer is really awesome."

Somehow I find the plaster charming. Then again, he could throw up on me and I'd probably think it was charming.

I think I'm on the single largest Raúl kick known to humanity. However, August 4 might just tip the scales a teeny bit. The IMDb boards scare me, but at least people think it looks good!

Why does IMDb scare you? Other than the Rosario Dawson board, which seemed to be filled with haters and/or sexist pigs for some reason, most of the ones I've looked at are harmless enough. The RENT one is kind of cute - someone started a FAQ type of thread for newbies, for instance.

Ah, August 4! I really want to hear what they do with Finale B.

Some of the IMDb boards are a little scary, but I do enjoy reading the recent RENT movie threads. I love how people will say "I've never heard of RENT in my life, but the trailer was SO awesome and I can't wait to see the movie." And that's when I think that this movie is gonna rock even more.
