Now that everyone's gone (naturally), I just remembered something I've always wanted to hear an "Adam" version of: Frankie's part in 'There Is A Fountain/It Don't Make Sense' (from the musical Parade), starting from:

Did you ever hear her laugh?
When she laughed, you swore you'd never cry again...

and ending before 'God forgive me...'

I know, it's a depressing song, sung from the point of view of a young guy who is mourning the murder of his friend. But it's also a lovely song, and toward the end when Frankie goes 'When she laughed you swore you'd never cryyyyyyyy...' Adam can make that sound incredible, I'm sure. morning!!! I missed alot it seems.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Wasn't that his "dream role" at some point?

*giggles profusely*

I was JUST going to say he needs to do Sweet Transvestite.

I want to hear his Mr. Cellophane, too.

On the same note as Mr. Cellophane... sort of, he's mentioned Billy Flynn as a role he might like to do. Mr. Cellophane could be great, though. It's a lot like Maybe This Time. *drools*

Ooh "Mr. Cellophane" would rock if he did it!!

I know he said he'd never do it, but I would love to hear him sing "Heaven on their Minds".

Bump!

Oh, and for some reason, I'd kind of like to see Adam as Tony in West Side Story... don't know if that would really work though... there's a lot of dancing in that show.

Sadly, he might fall and hurt himself.

Actually, the more I've been thinking about it, I don't think Tony does that much dancing... more like complex blocking. Of course, the production I saw was on a small square stage with seating on all four sides...
But I still think Adam would be able to sing some of those Tony songs really, really well.

I was just going through my Bookmarks and getting rid of ones I never use, and I found this! Someone (I think it was em) posted a link to pictures from this event.

It's Adam and Michael Cerveris doing Under Pressure. There's a lot of hand-crotch action going on on Adam's part. GLITTERY PANTS!

I'm sure I got this link from this thread at one time, but here it is again! (scroll down)

Haha, I think so... I love it! My favourite part, though, is when Adam goes really REALLY high, and Michael pulls on his (Adam's) pants. Oh, so tight. Rock it, Adam! (whooo hoo!!!!)

Aw, that's too bad. It looked like a lot of fun. You know, I've never been to a proper 'gig'. Isn't that sad? It's not such a popular place for that kind of thing around here.

But in two days (TWO!), I'll be in Fredericton, New Brunswick, seeing RENT for the first time. There'll be no sleeping between now and then, I'm sure!

No problem with that. I'm the opposite of you. When I'm looking forward to something, I tend to eat more, just to be doing something! It's not a good thing.

Allie, send your food to Emcee. Girl's going to hurt herself one of these days.

I thought Micheal kissed HIM, not the other way around. Hmmmm....

I have food... I just don't eat it.

I think Adam kisses Michael on the cheek, no? Could be wrong... I haven't watched that in a while. Either way, oh. baby. I know, I'm twisted.
