And would he do this if he was completely straight?
I heard he was drunk, but... *shrugs and walks away*
He sounded pretty good for being drunk.
And that high note was PERFECT! If he can hit, and sustain, that note than he has no excuse for the screech note in AIDA.

He did pick up a glass of beer when the song was over! Well, it definitely looked like beer!
PS: No kiss that I can see.
Maybe it was on a different video. Or in a picture. I KNOW I saw it. And as for the notes, he hadn't been performing for over a month when that took place. He was well rested.
Thank you SOO much for posting that!!
Okay, one thing I noticed: he's barefoot-- does he normally perform gigs barefoot??
Not that I've seen, but all of the ones I've seen were in the winter. That was at the end of July. Me being weird again, but I think it's absolutely adorable!

Oh, it's definitely adorable! And it seems SO casual, doesn't it? I think it's great.
It reminds me so much of the HAIR concert!
And another thing he does: he leans forward and puts his hand on his leg, then stands up and stretches his arm out. And he does it a lot-- it's so cute!
Hi guys. I think I've seen some pictures at some other earlier gigs where he was barefoot, but I'm not sure.
Nia, I feel pretty confident that he's completely straight, for one reason. Broadway is a pretty small world full of gay men, a good number of whom seem to be on this board. If Adam were bi they would have heard about it and wouldn't have been able to resist mentioning it here, by now. In fact, gay men tend to speculate about the possible gayness of a whole lot of actors who may not be, but Adam's name doesn't come up, that I can see.
Yes yes. Signature "movements," Diva. Was he barefoot for HAIR, too? Wait... I think so. *squeaks*
Chloe, I have seen Adam's name pop up a few times as potentially considering a bit of batting for both sides, but not really as much as I've seen for some others. A bit of it has come from gay men... and gaydar is a pretty interesting phenomenon. I don't really know what to think. It sort of depends on the day. Sometimes he has particularly "gay" moments, and you sit there thinking "oh dear GOD, Adam, what did you just do?" and other times he's as masculine as it gets. *shrugs*
Maybe the "gayness" of the theatre industry's just done a bit of rubbing off.
i agree that it's probably just the theater world. i think he's very straight
I know what you mean, Emcee, but clothes and mannerisms are one thing, and actual preferences another - there are even straight transvestites. But anyway, I guess those references you mention must have been a while back. Either that, or I need to go back to googling school!
Not even so much online... more in personal conversation. It has popped up. A lot of people ask the question just by virtue of the fact that he's in theatre, but some people do think bisexuality is a possibility. I can never decide where I stand, and either way it shouldn't *truly* matter, so I'll just wander off now before I get myself tied up in any ugly knots.
Just getting caught up. Hi, everyone.
nia - I always thought Razzle Dazzle would be an interesting song for him to do... But Mr. Cellophane would also be a nice one.
Emcee - on the video, it's Michael kissing Adam on the cheek. You naughty girl, you.
Oh, close enough! Michael's straight, yes?
"Michael's straight"
I believe so but I am not sure.
EDIT- THANKS ALLIE
Don't know either. And you're right, it really doesn't matter, but I will tell you that in my wanderings through the thickets of the internet, I came across two separate gossipy gay message boards speculating about actors along these lines, and they each had a post saying something like "Adam Pascal, anyone know anything about him?" but there were no replies.
About Michael: I don't know, Emcee. For some reason I don't think he is, but I haven't really been paying attention.
Someone posted about Adam doing Tony's songs in West Side Story... Interesting... I can't imagine how 'Maria' sounds with Adam's voice, or 'Somewhere', for that matter. They seem to really need a smooth, musical-theatre type voice, no?
But that song from Parade... It would need some adjustments to make it work, but it would sound so very nice. *sigh*

He's just that mysterious, I suppose...

Heeheehee, jacob. "I am not possible." (love ya)
I just did an internet search for Michael, and it mentioned something about him having a girlfriend, so I think he is straight.
Allie- I was typing on two threads and mixed up ideas.
Take it from me- Every guy involved in theatre has gay-ish mannerisms every now and than(lord knows I do). Whether it be the way walk, or talk.
I agree with amasis about the WSS songs - hard to imagine, but it might be interesting to hear him try them. I really do want to hear him try some blues. He could really wail on those songs, and they need that grit.

I know, jacob... You totally confused me. Then I got it "positive"
I agree with Adam doing blues. That would rock.
