Hey, orangeskittles! (For reasons I'm not quite sure of, your name will ring a lot of bells here on the Adam thread - at least if things weren't kind of dead right now.)
For me Adam's hotness isn't particularly tied up with his face anyway. I think it's a combination of his singing, stage presence and... some other things.
Emcee, close to Newark isn't bad at all - I was picturing somewhere in south Jersey...
Oooh the tour is coming close to Newark? I think I might go see it! Broadway is closer to where I live, but the tour sounds like it rocks.
Hi orangeskittles!!
Chloe, I didn't even pick up on the orange joke! Even though I got called out on that yet AGAIN last night.
Anyway, yeah. New Brunswick isn't in too distant of a location at all. Should be do-able, I think.

I just got SUPER confused for a second... You were all talking about New Brunswick, and I'm thinking that I just got back from there... you missed the tour. Duh. Different New Brunswick! Continue on.
I wonder where the original Brunswick is....
Things are so quiet, I'm starting to wish for another mistaken identiy sighting. Anthony Rapp has been quiet for a while too.
Emcee, I know you've had that avatar for just a little while, but I'm starting to find it hard to picture Adam in anything but that mullet.

Mistaken identity sighting? Did I miss something?
Chloe: Just look at my avatar for mullet-less Adam.
Hi OneSongGlory!
No, Allie, New Brunswick, New Jersey. And I think the mistaken identity bit is a reference to when some people thought Adam was on Jay Leno...
Chloe - that's really funny. I couldn't resist the mullet AND the eye-roll. I get such funny comments on it.
Allie, someone at ATC posted that Adam was on the Leno show a few nights ago. It turns out he mistook the lead singer of the band they had on that night for Adam. He does look and sound a little similar, but seems to be definitely lacking that hotness factor orangeskittles mentioned.
I love your avatar, but since I can't see Adam's hair in it, it doesn't seem to be able to cancel out the mullet.
Hi OneSong - well there's another vote for the tour. I'm really looking forward to the movie too, but it seems really far away right now.

Oh, gotcha... my friend tried to call me that morning Adam was on The View, just in case I didn't know, but I was in class. It was sweet, though.
Oo, oo!! I give an extra vote to the tour, just because I loved it that much!
I wish I could WALK in high heels for more than five minutes.
Well, I'm getting excited about seeing Rent on Broadway and maybe the tour too.
::kicks self again for missing the OBC:: And I even thought about it a couple of times!

liveish... that's a good one. i can't wait for the movie, since it will be my first time ever seeing rent (i've had the obc for two years)... and it will also be my first time seeing adam in something not, um, wait, nevermind... i've only seen adam in pictures and heard him on my rent, aida, mp and civilian cds...

I've written all sorts of lyrics on my notebooks- Rent, Aida, Wicked, West Side Story, Evita, POTO, Cats, Anything Goes... and the list goes on.
This is what I do when I'm bored during study hall. :)
Hi OneSongGlory!!
I do the same thing to my notebooks. I actually dedicated each month of the school year to a closed show, and each month I write the lyrics of that show everwhere.... And people go "WTF are THOSE??"
I'm not sure of the orange joke you're talking about, but it's my school's mascot.
And the guy's apparently not on facebook, so I don't have a picture to show y'all. The funny thing is, I've stared at the guy so many times when I passed by him, that now I've noticed that he stares back at me. I think he may think I'm stalking him.
Don't feel bad Chloe, I'm still mad at myself for not seeing the OBC and I was only 11 at the time. Here's hoping for a 10th anniversery stunt casting.

Gah, English... the only thing I have to look forward to is Romeo and Juliet, which we start sometime next month. Hooray, acting! (Not to mention the possible viewing of West Side Story...)
orangekittles, it's a really long story and basically the impact of some general silliness. Don't worry!
I've heard some rumblings about a 10th anniversary renunion, though...

Business English... does not sound fun. Sounds worse than "English Composition and Rhetoric," which I am probably going to be forced to take next year...

I've gotten used to paying attention to grammar when I write. Especially since my English teacher is the only one in the whole entire school that deducts one point from every essay for each grammatical mistake you make. And since she hates my writing style, I can't really afford to lose any more points due to grammar. Which is why it takes me forever and a day to write a two page paper.
Your teacher is doing you a favor, really. Not being able to write with good grammar and spelling is a handicap. Life is just a little easier when you don't have to overcome the bad impression it can make.
ETA: Sorry to get all preachy on you...

Just to add a little... my younger brother is a pretty smart kid, but no one every *seriously* taught him to use and apply basic grammatical conventions. Now he's 16 and a sophomore in high school with the writing ability of... well, something much lower than that, and it's putting a lot of roadblocks in his way. Your teacher is definitely doing you a favor.
Especially now that the SATs require you to write an essay. And college applications. And most classes in college. And trust me, if you think your teacher is bad, wait until you're dealing with a professor with a PhD in English.
aaaaaaaaaah the SAT. But really, though, that's just going to replace the SAT II: Writing exam which most colleges were starting to require anyway.
HALP GUYS!!!
1) I still can't find my Aida CR and I'm plucking out my hair strand by strand as punishment.
2) Does anyone remember the link of the OBC Rent cast singing covers of a bunch of songs? I'm trying to find the U2 one. (I'm on a U2 kick lately.)
Don't hurt yourself. And I have the U2 cover... the site that used to have that went down. IM me later.
ohh emcee, i will also pm you! I need that u2 cover! I lost mine when my computer crashed and i am very annoyed and sad. And good luck tiff wity finding your aida cd. What is this about a rent obc reunion?
