Emcee wouldn't even need to study for a test on adam.
But chica, aren't you supposed to be away working?

ooooh, a test on Adam. I like this idea.
What's up with everyone? I think I'm going to sign up for one of those blog-thingies... they look pretty cool. Plus, I'll be able to (hopefully) stop writing my theater stuff in my Spanish notebook. Rent lyrics and the subjunctive tense do not mix very well.

NOOOOOO, Emcee, you've got to live! What's the matter? Studying not going so well?

Your pick.
I'm not going to survive to 3/15. No way.

Nia, DROP THE WEAPONS.
Em, you'll be okay. You'll make it through... I promise. You must last until the 15th, you just HAVE TO! Think of how much you're looking forward to it!

True. If you die and waste that oppertunity, I'll probably die along with you. Just think of what you're going to get to do.
AAAAAAADAM.
Fine, he's the only thing that's going to make me survive, if I do.

Hi everyone - you can do it, Emcee! Are you feeling bad about studying, being sick, or both? By the way, I saw your question about Mambo Kings, and will put money on this having something to do with Mr. Esparza. I know a little about the movie but haven't read the book.

Yeah, a bit of both. Oh well.
And no, someone wrote something about Broadway being boring becuase the shows are all unoriginal - it's a very messed up argument in many ways, but she said that Mambo Kings was one of the only geniunely new shows this season, which it's not if it's based on a movie.

Well, it's kind of silly to argue for originality. Hardly anything is original in terms of story, it's the treatment that makes the difference. Mambo Kings does seem like a good bet for a musical, since it's about two musician brothers and a song one of them writes. Also, Latin music would be quite a novelty on Broadway.

Nia, I'm okay... sometimes you just need a good cry, right?
I'm sorry you're still feeling down, Allie.

I loved the music in the MK movie, which was stuff like Tito Puente and Celia Cruz. It was basically 50's hot Latin songs, and they stayed in my head a long time.
Well, Raul's name did come up before he got Chitty. People thought he'd be great in MK.

Hot latin boys? That's Raúl.
Thanks, Chloe. Allie just always messes these things up.
