Seeing that short clip of Denis performing "Roxie" was so fun. What other miscast roles would be fun to see him in?

Glinda? Mark Cohen? Bobby Strong?

Actually, I'd love to see Denis do Leo Bloom (another accountant!) or Buddy in FOLLIES.

Love to see him as George in VIRGINIA WOLLFF.

I think he'd do a great job as Leo Bloom. The only way I'm seeing The Producers again is if Denis rolls on the St. James theatre stage rubbing his face with his blue blankie. :)

I'd love to see Denis play all the Spelling Bee kids! He'd be so funny as Leaf Coneybear. He could wear a pillow under his shirt and play William Barfee. He could do Mr. Panch no problem but he doesn't sing. Man, they should cast all the spellers with actors in their 30's and 40's, Denis would kill!

Random Denis related thing that happened the other day: My two friends were discussing Law and Order: SVU in the car on the way home from an amusement park. I started making noises about how Denis was in an episode of that, and how he raped and old lady in it, and my friend recognized it!! This made me very happy because it's the only time any one of my friends has any idea about anything I'm talking about, so I very excitedly asked her, "Wasn't he ADORABLE?!!" Unfortunately she didn't agree, so I hit her, and all was made better.

And that was your random Denis related story of the day.

Your friend didn't think Denis was adorable b/c he was raping an elderly woman when she saw him. Not a shining moment.

I watch all the L&O reruns and I get so happy when a Bway performer is on. I've seen three of his episodes, I know he's done more but I'm not sure how many exactly. I've seen the SVU one that you talked about where he plays the mentally challenged worker who raped an elderly woman. Btw, his acting in that episode was phenominal!

Another great episode I've seen a few times was on CI where he played the Preist who was helping that young druggie guy who was his son? That was a confusing episode, I have to see it again. And then I saw a regular L&O where he and a bunch of other people were being charged with murder b/c of something having to do with their jobs and he defended himself.

I've been picturing Denis playing Leaf all day. I love that idea!

I *think* (don't quote me on this) he was only in three episodes of "regular" Law and Order and one SVU. Downstairs by the TV I have a list of TV guest appearances of all my fav Broadway stars so when I'm looking for something to watch and I stumble across one of them I'll know.

But I thought he was adorable in that episode - maybe that just springs from my eternal Denis love, however. I wanted to give him a hug, well, I want to that all the time, but... you know.

I love how Broadway stars are always guest starring on Law and Order. It's the only reason I really watch that show, or at least watch the opening credits to see who's guest starring each night.

I really want to see Denis as Leaf now. They should do some sort of benefit... thing... with all the kids as actors in their late 30's and upwards.

Twenty one more days until I see Sweet Charity!

Because of the London attacks yesterday, my mom is scared to go on a train, and won't be able to go to NYC to see Sweet Charity. :'( =(

Bah, when I was at a theatre workshop, my mom and my sister went to Broadway in Bryant Park and Denis was there! Ahhh!

No, that's not bad at all!! I myself find theatre and Denis and BWW and much more appealing alternative to hanging out in parking lots and rap music. Though, Denis rapping would be amazing.

Here's a sampling of a "life" where I live in upstate NY. Saturday morning around 1am I get a call and it's the local police. The guy says "This is Officer Hamburger. Your daughter was caught smoking weed." I'm so gullible, I'll believe anything. I was like "I was?" I didn't want to hang up on an officer so I was like "huh?" And then I heard an idiot laughing in the backround so I hung up.

That's "life" for alot of people who live in the middle of nowhere. Smoking, drinking, and acting like fools. I felt kinda better about my shows, tunes, and BWW life after that.

Ugh, I hate rap music. Norbert kinda raps in "great big stuff" but that's as close as I'll come to listening to it.

Don't have to. At my school, the teens at my school once passed rumors about me claiming I'm 'sadistic power-hungry bitch who is in dire need of a f*cking' thanks to a exploited relationship I had during my freshman year. Somehow, the rumors stayed through to this day and occasionally gets frightened looks when I walk down the hallways.

I guess it's out of hte question for you to sing the gun song and point out your index finger, huh? I caught myself doing that whilst listening to Assassins. I must've looked crazy but I'm just a theatre geek.

XD. I have this idea for a shirt that'll say "I'm Taken Bitch" and the quote glows in the dark, so you can wear them to the clubs or somewhere that's dimly lit.

I got the idea of a friend telling me that her sister bought a shirt that had the quote "I'm single" glowed in the dark.

Okay. That's it. I am totally going to make an 'I am a terrifying and imposing figure!' t-shirt.

I would make a 'Look on the bright side!' one, but I think people would mistake it for a cheerfully optimistic sentiment instead of the ironic Sondheim lyric that it is.
