I've been in New Jersey hanging out with my friend Jessie and pretending to be a gay man in InkLink! (which is pretty much online pictionary, for those who don't know...)
Now I'm home, back with my kitties and YAY 200 POSTS!!
Hahaha, of course you can use it! (Sorry, I thought I replied already... I guess I didn't.) Credit would be nice... but you don't have to.
That WOULD make a nice tshirt... but I'm out of iron on paper. Going to buy some today though so I can make my back to school wardrobe... ah! Back to school! And I haven't even finished my play that I'm supposed to have finished before I start my playwrighting apprenticeship... I'm actually further along with my Assassins soap opera than with my serious play. *facepalm* Maybe I should turn THAT in... because then the kids in the acting apprenticeship would have to perform it... wouldn't THAT be a hoot??
Hope everyone has a happy Denis day! I finally finished writing him a letter thanking him for being so incredibly sweet to me when I met him and I'm going to go buy some pretty stationary to write it on. YAY DENNY!
I'll make sure to let everyone know, heh. I'll make an announcement before auditions for the part start, 'If you don't think Denis O'Hare is god, you might as well go home now. Thank you.'
I'm glad my soap opera is so popular!! Something tells me my creative writing teacher won't like it though.
...Also something tells me if it were ever performed, I would get sued by a whole lotta people. *cheeky grin*
There is an Act Two on the way! I have about two pages so far. (Act One is 60 pages. Hee.)
Has anyone bought the Sweet Charity souvenir program? I saw it at the theatre shop next to the Marquis theatre but they're too expensive, I'll wait and pick it up at the theatre. I was looking at the pics of Denis and had the biggest smile on my face but I had to put it down b/c one of the employees was giving me the evil eye lol.
3 months to OUAM dvd!!!
Love ya, Denis!

I was going to buy it but my father was getting cramps in his wrist from taking out his wallet so much. I tried to tell him, "That's what happens when you tell a theatre-obsessed 15 year old, 'Yeah, sure, we can go on vacation to New York City,'" but he wasn't hearing it and I was only allowed to get one thing at each show we went to, and my musical tshirt collection desperately needed a Denis show.
Speaking of employees, I had the best conversation with the guy selling tshirts at Sweet Charity. I put my ticket stub down on the counter while fussing with money and he was all "Ooh, you've got great seats." We got to chatting and somehow this led to me saying "Yeah, we came all the way from Pittsburgh to see Denis O'Hare." He replied, "Oh, he's great. It really is his show." which got me very, very excited. Because to tell the truth I was nervous he wasn't going to be everything I expected - you know, at that point I'd never seen him act, only heard him sing on cast recordings, and even though he's stellar on those, I mean, there was still this little voice in the back of my head that was saying 'What if he's not all you expected?' But that salesguy telling me that erased all doubt from my mind. And he was all I expected! And so much more!! *swoons, falls off chair*
(This post has been far too long...)
I miss Denis like woah. I want to see Charity again so bad... my mom said if we go up to the city for Thanksgiving and we have time, we can do TKTS and maybe see it again. *dancedancedance* Except I'll need a different tshirt!
I hope you get to see Denis again! And I hope you get to see Piazza, too! Nothing this season is getting me too excited, not like last season so I'll be going back to last season's shows to make up for it.
I bet you'll be able to buy the SC program at either broadwaynewyork.com or the broadwaycollection.com, they both are selling SC merchandise.

lamenting envelope knows this already but, here's my bio for my school play
"Andrea thanks her family and friends for their love and support, Denis O'Hare for the laughs, Anthony Rapp for the good times, and Stephen Sondheim for a helping hand."
I handed it in and people gave me strange looks and asked who Denis and Sondheim were. I nearly died.
