Aww thanks Sarah! I still have 29 pics left on ours so it'll be a while. Did you take the face pic as well? Could you send that too if you did?
Really shouldn't be doing this early in the morning before school but I can't help myself...maybe I'll try to keep it short for that reason...
Have to finish about Saturday...so we went over to Rent lotto, my name was called fourth(I never win anything I was really excited), so we were front row dead center. Pretty awesome. Cary Shields was out, but his understudy was quite good. The keys fell right in front of me, but I put my poster on the floor in front of me and apparently someone tries to use a cane to get back the keys from beneath the stage but my poster got in the way, so I threw the guys the keys, yaay for me being props mistress assistant.
Frenchie was out, but this girl named Crystal sang an AMAZING Seasons Of Love solo, hitting the note from the CD, that's impressive. And I was moved in my own way, god I love this show!
But just realized gotta backtrack to before the show...I started thinking of a couple pictures I wanted to take so Dre and I decided to buy a disposable camera since neither one of us has one. So for the third time we went back to the stagedoor before the show, hehe. I took a pic w/ Laura(who actually took 3-first one no flash, second one we both blinked). God, I love her. Said hellos again to Sara and Joe. Saw Sherie, said a quick hello to her. (Everyone was in the show Sat night b/c Jonathan Pryce who they want to take over for Lawrence was seeing it for anyone who didn't know). And John came in and someone screamed for him to pleased take a pic w/ someone from Germany which he did, but he said he was running late when I asked

Didn't want it that much, just he never takes pics w/ people so that was cool. Guess what European I thought of?
There seemed to be something more exciting than Pryce being there, b/c everyone was like hugging at the door, it looked cool. Greg was late as usual. On the way to Rent, Dre and I took the pic in front of the DRS sign that Ryan took haha it was funny(hope ya don't mind us stealing the idea...)
Anyway, so Rent was over, and for the last time, went back to DRS. First we saw someone getting Andrew's autograph, thought that was Sarah. Went close to keep saying her name but no one turned around so we figured not. Then we saw someone take a pic w/ Dolly so figured that was her. As we walked over, Dre saw some college friends who we talked with for a while. I saw Pryce walk out, but we were too far away for me to get close enough to ask for a picture or even ask what he thought of the show. Poop. Sherie came out and seemed in a bit of a rush, but I quickly told her that I made her a card that Ryan was supposed to give her but never did, and just that it ya know basically said my thoughts and prayers are w/ her and that she's feeling better..she kinda touched my shoulder and said she was feeling better...since she was in a rush, I didn't ask for a pic or about her last day, instead just told her to have a relaxing and resting vacation, she deserves it, and she laughed.
Anyway, then Dre's friends left and we saw that the girl who took a pic w/ Dolly was indeed Sarah, who has an awesome southern accent. It was great meeting you! Though I don't understand when you guys meet me your first reaction is right away you see where the long posts come from...
Greg said he'd be late taking a bunch of his in-laws backstage and we started to see them come out. At one point, an adorable old man walks by us and asks me and Dre isn't Greg great while he was signing for others, and we were like of course, we love him. And he was like oh I know you...you both are on his website!! Haha that was wonderful. He was like yeah, he's my son-in-law. Soo cute, I love Greg's family. As I told him, from all the time I've been at the stage door and seen him come out w/ members who he's taken backstage, I've prob come close to briefly meeting the whole family.
Finally, Greg chatted w/ me, Dre, Sarah and Sarah's friend for a little while. Okay, so I decided early on to start trying to make the "Andre" face. At first Dre and I kept cracking up and I couldn't hold it but apparently I got better...then I had a wonderful idea to take a pic w/ Greg making the face! So I mentioned it to him...and I swear...he had no idea what I was talking about! He has no idea that he makes an "Andre face"! I had to try to show him! Guess actors do a lot of things unconsciously. Anyway, Sarah wanted a group picture of all of us and I felt very short...as Greg said oh I'm just a tad shorter than everyone...bit more than a tad but it was funny. And we took our "face" picture, which everyone said we both looked good, so we'll see I'm excited for that to come out.
Then Dre and her parents had a while before their train came in so we talked to Sarah and her friend for a while...finally we all left, I gots to my car and went home.
So yeah awesome day! Sorry Dre you can add but...I was talking to Jamie yesterday about pictures and Pryce and realized she had no clue what I was talking about, I was too excited to wait. But add your post still! And Sarah still waiting for yours and how Sunday went!
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
