"New plan!!...

Jó kedvvel, böséggel,

Ha küzd ellenséggel;

Hozz rá víg esztendöt,
Megbünhödte már e nép

Just saying howdy ... skipped church, slept late, heating up the oven to cook some veggie egg rolls. Thanks for all the compliments on the latest slide show, glad you like it.
Can't think of much else constructive to say (as if that's stopped me before) ... I'll throw in that starting Nov. 1st I'm going to be having a lot of dental work done, starting with at least one and *perhaps* three, if I decide for him to do them all at once, root canals! omg Plus crowns, blah blah, other stuff ... okay I knew I'd neglected going until I was in pain and I kept thinking it was mostly sinus-related anyhow, but I wasn't prepared for it to be this bad. Anyway ... I actually told them at the dentist's office that I simply cannot come in on Wednesdays or Saturdays. lol
Oh! I ordered myself a copy of Carols for a Cure 2005 late last night ... can't wait! ... there's info and a link to the order page on Greg's site, but I'll paste it in here. He and Rachel de Benedet sing "O Holy Night" (beautiful song!).
Have a great Sunday, everybody! -- Barb xoxo

this is sort of a cool thing but in one picture of Marose's on Greg's site, it looks like Joe is autographing a playbill for someone. More people are getting ensemble members' autographs! Yay!

yep, that's Joe signing over to the left of the photo ... and I also spotted another "Friend of André" among the fans on that side ... if you look closely, you'll spot the Julia that's on

Gonna go cook those egg rolls now! Ciao! - Barb xoxo

I guess she's tired from all the excitement.
My aunt is bringing early X-mas presents on Saturday when she comes to visit, so I'll feel in a Christmas mood then!
How is everyone?
Hey guys. In the library. Okay, let's see, I don't have the energy for an uber long post, but I'll do my best..
Yep - had to wake up at 6AM yesterday (Cat and her bro had to wake up at 4.) Got to the theater at 7AM to wait in line for standing room only tickets. There were already 4 people there. And later, 2 girls who knew tae-bo joined us. So we waited there until 10 when the box office opened. Got our tickets and looked for a place to eat... Sam wouldn't let us eat at the Roxy Delicatessen, so we went to McDonalds. lol. But it was grand. McGriddles are heaven. No lie. After sitting there for a while trying to decide what to do, we went to Toys R Us. Rode the ferris wheel. Darth Vader ran away from us. Went to barbie land. You know, all that stuff... and then the time came to see SWEENY!!!!!
I'm really bad with reviews, so I'm not going to try too hard. But I loved it. I was afraid that the actors playing the instruments would be distracting or take away from everything, but it didn't at all. The entire cast is so talented. PATTI LUPONE! Yes! Seeing her play the tuba is easily one of the best moments of my life! Haha. She was great. As was Michael Cerveris. Everyone. And the way they did the killings was so chilling. Very effective. I don't want to give anything away. Just... go see it, if you have the opportunity. Amazing.
After zat we stagedoored. Sam had Michael Cerveris say "Row L rocked the theater" and recorded it on his phone. And I got a picture with him! Patti didn't come out... le sigh... but I'll go back to see it, I'm sure. After that madness, we went to Olive Garden! Where magical things happen. Like soda shooting out of my nose! Yes! That hasn't happened since I was 11. It was quite the joyous event. Sam said something that wasn't even funny, and it just all came out. It had been coming all day, I had felt it! I wish I had it on tape! It was awesome! It BURNS! WOOOOO! Lmao. Went to Colony to waste time after that.. and then off to THE ODD COUPLE!!!!
I love that play, I really do. And Matthew and Nathan are so great. And Brad Garret from Everybody Loves Raymond! Nobody loves Raymond, Brad, everybody loves YOU! (That was so bad.) The show was really great. I don't think Matthew was bad at all, I thought he was wonderful. Everyone was. I still can't believe I actually got to see it, I never thought I would. It was definitely worth getting up at 6AM.
And YES OF COURSE WE STAGEDOORED. As soon as we got out to the stagedoor it was TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR TIME. It had been slightly raining on and off all day and as soon as we really need it to stay dry... it's a monsoon. But Matthew and Nathan still came out and signed for those that were still standing there. I. MET. MATTHEW. BRODERICK. It's been a dream since I was like 8 years old. I MET HIM!! He was really nice and he had a yellow umbrella. The sharpies weren't writing because everyone's playbills were wet, and he kept apologizing like he started the thunderstorm. It was so cute. Someone had a ballpoint pen, so he used that. And Cat's playbill was dry so he used her sharpie and KEPT IT! Matthew Broderick has cat's sharpie. Oh, glorious day. And Sam said "I loved you in Godzilla." And I think Matthew *may* have been a little offended.. though Sam didn't mean it that way! haha Nathan Lane was super nice as well. I don't remember what color his umbrella was..
After all that, we went to the DRS stagedoor to stalk LIZ! The GregCam captains were united. It was wunderbar. Liz and her entourage went back stage and we hung around to say hi to Greg. So Sam got to meet Greg. Holler. I couldn't feel my hands! Woo! Greg had a copy of Dean & Me (the story on tape that he voiced.) And I can't believe Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman were there! We didn't see them, but that's pretty freaking cool.
So we went to the subway.. Cat and Sam departed at Penn Station and I went on home. And that is the end.
So apparently I did have the energy for a long post.
I'll be in the library for a couple hours.. so I'll be here!

Sounds like you had a wonderbar time! You're so funny though. That's what I liked about your post, Kerrie.
that is so cool Kerrie! Love the review. Really want to see odd couple. saw Patti Lupone in Noises Off. Never knew that lol.
oh, I now see that you say "zat" instead of "that". Makes me laugh. lol.

zis was an awesome review Kerrie.
"there were two girls, who knew tae-bo" lmao
and what was about the soda and someone's brother insulted Broderick thing?
That's in there! - After that madness, we went to Olive Garden! Where magical things happen. Like soda shooting out of my nose! Yes! That hasn't happened since I was 11. I'm sure you'll eventually get to do it. Did alot of people stagedoor that one?
Yeah there was a good amount of people there.
