We're bad to the bone...b-b-b-b-b-b-bad
liz, sounds exciting! John shook your hand and called you by name? did he know you or did you tell him your name?
Cat: I love Bill Pullman! Specially in casper and While You Were Sleeping. Have you seen Lake Placid? one of the funniest scary movies ever! love Oliver Platt in that too.
I just watched While you Were Sleeping!!!
And he is in Independence Day...as the best president ever!
In summation, I'd vote Bill Pullman for president...
Yes Cat, bad comp day. No Greg said "John, I want you to meet my friend Liz" and John said, "Hi Liz, it's great to meet you" and shook my hand. And Hugh..was...there. ::dies::
I saw John when he was signing from safely under the overhang away from the rain...If I were a braver person I would have ventured out in the rain to meet him...
But I'm not!
cat: watch Lake Placid! it;s hilarious!
Liz: ah well, he shook your hand and said your name like you said. that is still cool!
Alas, its against my religion to watch bad alligator movies...even Bill Pullman ones...
Hugh was lookin' HOTT. I will post tomorrow when my brain is fully functioning, it's gonna be hecka long.

Sounds like you had fun, Liz!
I acutally went to Olive Garden tonight. They're holding this Pasta Tales essay contest. I've entered online twice. The grand prize is a trip to New York City...
...maybe....perhaps...
cat: even though it is hilarious? I mean, Betty White is hilarious! One of the best parts of the movie. Her and Oliver Platt.
Cat -
I LOVE the Bill Pullman pic. He's absolutely one of the nicest guys I've ever met at a stage door. (Of course, I've never met Mr. J.) I've got one pic with him that some guy took over on my fan photos. He's going to be back on stage in "The Subject Was Roses" at the Kennedy Center in January. You know I'll be there!
I've never been to kennedy center...or DC for that matter, bit of a road trip for me, a 5 hour drive...maybe one of these days when I'm feeling spontaneous...
Lovin' the panda in your avatar...whats it from?
Hey everyone. Ended up seeing Wicked today. Kat and I overpayed out the yinyang (my first and last time I will ever do it) because I was there early enough to get on the cancellation libe. It was a good show though the audience sucked BIG time. Very disappointed. Worse still, the perfect wicked trio was broken because David was out. Though Jerad Botz was in for David Ayers, he was not worthy of kissing Shoshana's sweet, sweet lips. Pitchy, voice cracking, and bland. I know Amanda does not like David, but Jerad was 10x worse than David on his bad day -.- Oh well, a day of Megan and Shoshana is akin to a day with Greg for you guys so I am happy. I need to see Rent now! Someone help me (and Kat)!
Oh and Greg said Norbert would contact me soon about the website stuff. He did not know of Norbert got it but he told me Norbert was a fast replier so cowebsters, keep checking your mail for the announcement!
I work at the Smithsonian Institution and that little guy on my avatar is our new superstar - Baby panda Tai Shan. He's 15 weeks old today, weighs 14 pounds, and is the cutest bundle of black and white fluff to ever come along! He'll be making his public debut in December. You should try to come down in January. You'll be able to see him AND Bill!

Yes, sir, Ryan, sir! I can't wait.
aww! i love him mamie! He reminds me of my pre-orientation theatre group. We call ourselves the "Panda-Sex Activists." weird I know but a long story. Basically, we had to make up a story, each person saying a little bit then passing it to the next person. Well, it started out with our president of Dickinson College eating dinner in the cafe when he sees there is a protest goin on in DC about Pandas having sex. The government doesn't want it to continue because when they (the pandas) are born, they are tiny and could be stepped on. but the people want to allow pandas to have sex so, on facebook, we are the panda-sex activists.
LOL - I have to laugh at that, Dre. Mainly because the subject of Tai's parent's sex life has been a major topic of interest around here for the last couple of years. Everybody is panda crazy.
yes! Nice! glad you like the story! it is an important issue though.
Well Tai's mother, Mei Xiang, has been an excellent first-time mother. She's taken exceptional care of him from the day of his birth. (She went for 6 weeks without eating or drinking just so she could care for him. When she finally did leave him to get a drink, she was only gone for less than a minute.) He recently learned how to use his legs and now he gives her a little attitude when she tries to limit his exploration of his new world. I have a feeling that he's going to be a feisty one when he gets older!
that is so cute. we have a baby panda picture, and I thought it was that one but I think it doesn't have as much hair. lol.
That picture was taken about 5-7 weeks ago. He was a little less than half his current size then.
This is a webcam into mama and baby's den:

well, i guess I'm the last one on the board today, tonight, yesterday, tomorrow, whatever you want to call it. But it all must come to an end. Going to bed now. Night!
Naw, I take the cake, posting around on other threads. Yaay(and boo) for being the latest nighter. Really could work on some sleep...
actually, haven;t gotten to bed yet. lol.
