haha, thanks Mamie for thinking me when you got John's signature...and yes Greg is reading the thread so no more stalking, nor any pervert suggestion/wish from now on...
I will be a good girl...the normal one (I hope I won't be sacked from this thread)
LOL-tracy, your story is HILARIOUS. hahaha-makes me want to go bowling.

CAT!!!
Oh, good, I am off to sleep anyway...and listening to that damn Carols for a cure CD.
But I will listen to "O, holy night" just once. ...because I don't want to be in a xmas mooooooooooooooood.
Dreidel dreidel dreidel...
Yeah yeah Mamie, that's why you almost didn't see me when you came out. The girls were...there might have been like two people between you. And no...actually if I'm not mistaken you are missing...Norbert, Rachelle, Laura, Sally, Paula, Tim, Andrew, Dennis, Matt, Nina, Julie, Jeremy, Greg G, Stephen, Jason, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Joe, Tom, Roxane and Amy. (They're as important to the cast as Norb and anyone else you already have :-P
Did the girl leave before I came out?
And annie, if you become normal, you are the first one voted off the thread.
Got a Woman in white sampler today...sounds damn good to me!
The ending to a "Farewell to Arms" is Tragic...I don't think I've ever been assigned a novel in school with a happy ending...le sigh
And before I get any more complaints...
lmao. I.Love.Cat.
ROTFL yaay Cat!
I wasn't really complaining, just Annie was complaining about all the Christmas stuff so I was giving her another option.
In other news, I get to take an awesome independent study/practicum next semester! I spoke w/ the head of the performing arts department and she has lots of ideas and said we'll chat in the beginning of the semester, but she seemed to be leaning towards the idea of me coming into her acting classes to critique/discuss shows I've seen--I mean talk about bway, I do that for fun! I'm so excited!

Hey all. My grandmother had to go to the doctor today right after school to pick up some medicene for her swollen hand, and we also had to fill her prescription. So, that is why I am home so late! LOL.
Well Cat, I'm really not thrilled w/ the essay I hafta write, wouldn't consider it one of my more interesting ones that you're usually jealous of. I have to argue which is better out of Machiavelli's "The Prince" and Thoreau's "A Civil Disobedience" both from content and rhetoric perspective. Ulgh. I spent like the last hour-hour and a half reading and underlining passages and such and now I have a huge headache and I didn't even start writing the damn thing which is due tomorrow.
Damnit. As per my sig, I think I masturbated.
I have to write an essay comparing the movie "Mask" (with cher in it)...to Frankenstein, not due till next monday...
And then I also have one analyzing the novel "The Sun Also Rises" due next monday...'
And on next tuesday I have one comparing "Not So Quiet on the Western Front" and a poem...
This was a terribly uninteresting post...Heres my attempt to make up for it...
love the simpsons gif, Cat!
read The Sun Also Rises. interesting novel.
just came back from the library. had to watch Wonderland (a british indie film) for my english class, then (right after Wonderland) i had to watch Rambo First Blood Part 2 (for my seminar class, Hollywood Goes to War). what a crap movie. almost no story line and way too much bombing.
Thanksgiving break in a week! yay!!!!!!!
*sniffle*
i just got back from 3 hours of chorale/madrigals practice, and all we sing are holidays songs. and now that darn "carol of the bells" is stuck in my head.
I WANT IT TO SNOW, DAMNIT!! hahahahaha
just watch. in a few months, i'll be COMPLAINING my butt off about the snow, if we ever get some. i usually end up doing that, anyways. but for right now-i'm in a holiday mood!
i uh-think i mentioned this before, but, since everybody's discussing what they're doing in school...we did KEAT's "ode on a grecian urn" 2 weeks ago. u know, that poem that lawrence quotes in give them what they want? but, i liked it MUCH better when it's in the DRS context, haha.
i hate that poem (did that in 10th grade) but the quote in the song is a little different to the poem. the poem is: "Beauty is truth, truth beauty" but the song is: "Truth is beauty." so, i mean, yeah, it is from keats, but they switched it a little. whatever. I;m tired. lol.
And that is all you really need to know
Well, kinda good news. I'm 1/6 done w/ my essay, friggin insistence on having to compare 3 areas when I insist on doing it very much ind epth, giving me long-ass papers.
In other really good news, BBC's pride and prejudice is on the biography channel! Unfortunately it was the first episode which I missed and the 2, I prefer the 3-6. And the 5th is my fav. Who can guess why?
OMG it's on b/c there's a special edition DVD of P&P coming out/that's out! Ahhh! Gotta find that somewhere...
Ooh...quite sad I missed so much of that...methinks its time to haul it home from the library again!
colin firth is cute. either I fell in love with him in the first Bridget Jones or in Importance of being Earnest. Does anyone know the British comedy, Blackadder? One of my favorites and Colin Firth plays a small part in the last episode, as Shakespeare. he's cool in it.
Meh, the dance scene between Lizzie and Darcy in episode 2 is not conducive to me getting homework done.
OMG-I LOVE, LOVE LOVE the A&E pride and prejudice series!
i read the book first (it's my favorite book) and so i was reluctant to see the series. but, oh man, it TOTALLY gave the book justice-i LOVED it.
and now, the new version starring keira knightley came out in select theaters last week. i'm sure it's not going to be austen's novel on the screen, but i'm keeping an open mind considering that it's from the same ppl who did Love Actually, which i thought was really, really cute. plus, i've always like keira.
and matt macfayden (or whatever his name is) may not be colin, but is pretty damn hott. haha. i LOVE mr. darcy. :) elizabeth bennet is such a lucky girl. *sigh* hahahaha
and dre, ur right. DRS changes the quote a little bit. but, that's all right; yazbek's still awesome.
