That tousled hair, and the robe, ... so cute.
I'll be here!
Wait, what bcefa tour group?
BTW interesting lesson today..I'm awful at marangue(sp?), so-so not great at ramba and very very good at cha cha.
I know Cat - today it was unseasonably warm. But the rain marked the beginning of a cold front. Once it passed, our temps dropped 30 degrees.
Jeepers...look at that
Wednesday night: Cloudy with showers. Low 41F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch.
Guess that means a coat tomorrow...
hey all! back from rehearsal which went well.
Mamie- so sorry. that sounds like it was a bad day. glad you could watch the webcam though
did I miss anything good? I read about the bellboys.
oh, and I want it to snow here too. it;s boring when it just rains. lol.
Who is that in the background? I almost thought it was Dolly, but doesn't she have straight hair?
Thank you Dre. It started out just awful but it got a lot better by the end. (A sweet note from Greg made it much better.)
np. i know how getting an email from greg is like. i got a few today.
Hmm face off eh? Some kind of cream make up remover? >.> I should get that. I always smear make up when I try to take it off. Look like I have raccoon eyes.
-- I wanna write an email to Greg but I can't think of anything relevant to say!
Maybe it would just be a good idea to thank him for doing the cam. Tell him how much you enjoy it. It can't be the easiest thing in the world for him to do - entertain the audience AND us!
i certain have done that. weird. usually, he cuts the came off right before robe time. are we getting guests?
Yes - BC/EFA tour group
I know I said it before - but I really love your avatar! (My favorite poster on BWW was DGrant and it reminds me of his old avatar. It was his high school graduation photo.)
I wonder if Greg is allergic to anything ---

I want to send him one of the gourmet caramel apples from there for Christmas heh. Our town is kind of known for this candy shop (among other things...our town is rather touristy).
aww thanks mamie.
BC/EFA? what? confused. i know that is some sort of charity thing but tour group?
I love those apples but I have a terrible time finding one that doesn't have any chocolate on it. (I'm allergic to chocolate. Based on Greg's screen notes tonight, I'm pretty sure he has no problem eating chocolate.)
Aw you're allergic to chocolate? Thanks sucks >.> I would have a hard time dealing with that...
Greg's giving the BC/EFA speech at the end of the show. I'm GUESSING that anybody who makes a donation of a certain dollar value or higher will get a backstage tour conducted by Mr. Greg Jbara.
When I went John offered a tee shirt with one of his drawings on the front. To hike up the bidding, he autographed it. Then to make the bidding even higher, he offered to draw a picture of the high bidder on the back and then give that bidder a back stage tour. These are the kinds of things all the casts of the different shows do to raise money for BC/EFA before Christmas. It's kind of a contest to see which show raises the most money.
really? cool!
oh, and I found this high school article about DRS. I hate how they say:
"the always corruptible police chief, Andre Thibault, played by the veteran actor Gregory Jbara"
he;s not a veteran.
here's the article:
high school article on DRS
contest? wow. wonder if they will have the contests during thanksgiving break. might see the show then.
Why do you say he's not a veteran?
here is a good article (small part about DRS):
"hunky man-of-our-dreams Gregory Jbara."
man are they right! lol.

It will go on till December 5. On 12/5 and 12/6 there will be a special variety show that is put on by all the gypsy's in each of the Broadway musicals. Usually they put on skits that make fun of each other. (Like DRS and Spamalot making fun of each other). Honestly - it's the best show I've ever seen in NY! REALLY worth getting a ticket for.
There will be a special awards ceremony during the show when the top earners will be presented with plaques. Awards are also given for the top earners in plays and off-Broadway shows and touring companies. All of them are doing this fund raising right now.
This tells you all about it: http://www.broadwaycares.org/events/gypsy.cfm
i think he is in his prime now. I mean, everything he has done has lead up to this part. This is his biggest part in a musical and even a movie. Well, I know he was in Chicago, but he filled in. He created this role.
They just mean he's an experienced, professional actor. When they use that term in describing an actor, it's always a compliment.
