I agree with Mamie. I think veteren just implies that he has theater experience rather than saying he's past his prime or something.

Hmm I was hoping to see DRS on my birthday, but it's not during spring break like I had hoped :P

honestly- it's true. You don't want to mix it up with something like a military veteran. WHen you think of them, you always think of some old guy. Not so at all in this case. Dakota Fanning would now be considered a veteran actor.

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

n/m saw the slideshow question answered

Extra great slideshow Barb!

Rachelle looked adorable!

And Dennis...silly Dennis.

And I mean I'm totally not against threadjacks but it's been extremely frustrating...my thread simply asking if anyone was at DRS today could tell me about Rak...quite a few responses ranging from...I'm going Thursday to I'm going Saturday to I saw another girl go on for Jolene in July to what's the attendance like on Saturday to lots of people are going Saturday to I'm going Friday and one semi-response to the actual question, just that someone's friend went. Sorry, just a tad frustrated, don't understand the logic behind the question I asked and someone deciding to respond "I'm going Saturday."

Thanks for putting up the slideshow Barb, and thanks for putting up my wallpapers :) Glad to have some fanart up there heehee. Maybe I should try and finish my Andre sketch one of these days >.> Despite having taken 2 semesters of Drawing last year I'm no good at realism.

Am I the only one amused by the fact I now realize quite often Annie has gotten to sleep and woken up and I haven't gone to sleep at all in between? Granted there's a huge time diff. but says a lot to how late I stay up...

Meh, should have tried to sleep earlier but I had to watch Lost and the end of Pride and Prejudice. God I loove that series.

Wow than it's even sadder that you live in the same country as me and quite a few nights you've slept and gotten up before I've slept.

i'm awake. not sure if you have gotten any sleep yet Amanda.

got astro at 10:30, peer revise papers for class tomorrow, work with my scene partner for acting, go to acting, choir, dinner, rehearsal, finish up radio. nonstop fun and complete ****. lol. but thanksgiving break is on tues! yay me. i might go into the city to see either Chitty or Odd Couple. probably odd couple but I really don;t want to go in early and wait in line. unless my friend wants to come with me. hmmm. ok, got to go. love you all!

(sounds like I'm writing a letter or email. was about to sign my name at the end of it. lol)

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Lennon doesn't have a cast recording...

Go see Chitty...its easy to get rush tickets to, its closing before Odd couple so you have less time to see it...and IMO its much more enjoyable...Odd Couple was good for the thrill of seeing Nathan Lane and Matthew Briderick, but its not HILARIOUSLY funny or anything...once again just my opinion re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

And I think people threadjack like that because if there are too many threads about the same subject the angry board thread police start railing about it, so people jump into other threads when they have something to say...

And my computer died today...why computer why...I turned it off last night and it was perfectly fine and then this morning it wouldn't turn on...Now the best case scenario I restore it and lose everything on my harddrive...worse case scenario restoring it doesn't work and i have to either pay hundreds of dollars to fix it or wait until february computerless, when I am planning on buying a laptop...
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Cat, trust me I understand frustration at repeated threads(I hafta start counting to 10 and detaining myself everytime I read a thread asking when a DRSer goes on vacation, when a contract expires or if they should expect them to be out on Dec. 11.

Guess I was just frustrated b/c I was really anxious to hear about it since I couldn't be there and would get an excited to see a reply, and I'm pretty certain it was her first time on, so it would be the first time hearing about it.

Dre, I should hope I've been asleep by 10AM. The latest I've been up to is 7AM and that was New years when I was out karoaking for most of the night. These days the *latest* I'm usually up, and even this is rare, is 5:30, and that's if I'm just not tired or like a thurs night where I get back at 3am and feel I have too much to do to go to sleep and know I can sleep as late as I want. Usually it's between 3-4:30 I'd say.

I can't speak for Odd Couple but Chitty depends on personal taste I think. I'm glad I saw it, was cute and entertaininig, and I suppose worth it for the car, but I wouldn't recommend it as one of my highest for a list for someone who hasn't seen too many shows(not saying this specifically for Dre just in general). I do enjoy spectacle/child-like stories but this one just didn't excite me that much, and the first act really dragged till the car flew. Obviously, the performances were great, esp. Kudisch and Maxwell, and using the argument you'd wanna see it before it closes, and it does have a great rush policy...so yeah, just my 2 cents.

And I got a TDF ticket to Chita Rivera last night for Dec. 1, yaaaaaay!

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Oops misread your post Cat, suppose in this case I was an angry board police, though I'm usually good about that, I searched one night and found 28 total threads asking about DRS contracts/vacations and I'm sure that's increased. Still, I know enough to not post such irrelevant stuff like that on the main board(I'm going to this show this day), I just post stuff like that on this thread b/c we're friends and share about our days, but still not so sure it applies to all the random ppl replying they're going another day...I digress..oh well.
