People who don't know me will probably think I'm being nasty by using it, but people who do will hopefully get it and think it's funny. I certainly do!
Tell her thanks.

I agree, I would adore a TTB concert.
Orange, you sounded a little nervous, but it's much better to babble than not say anything, say too much instead of too little.
And I apologize, quiet squeal. It wasn't that loud b/c you didn't want to be too obvious so it's okay.

Not bad nervous. I just meant that like, your voice sounded a little shaky.
#8281a complex fellow
Posted: 11/23/05 at 12:41pmUGH! My shaky voice is literally the bane of my existence. Whenever I get into a heated discussion, or even just a regular discussion, my voice gets shaky, which makes people think I'm about to cry, even if I'm not! It's so annoying.

He went to look at the auction items behind the table, so there was a pole blocking him when I was trying to point him out to skittles. It took one or two times of walking back and forth to be able to see him. And it was a very nice, appropriate squeal.
A TTB concert would be so powerful.

Oh right, I forgot he was behind the booth there and I think we said who it was but she couldn't see him, then he moved and she did.
I've gotten much better at shaking, I save that for special people. The first time I talked to Anthony I was shaking big-time, but he was so warm and remembered me next time and now I'm fine w/ him. Adam I probably shaked w/ but I didn't really say much aside from "picture," "birthday card", and "eyes drawing," so it perhaps was not that recognizable.
Funnily enough I think I shook most when talking to Michael Grief outside of rent one night. It wasn't even quiet shaking, it was loud and very obvious shaking, soo embarassing...then again none of my friends would even approach him. He was really nice, tried to make me feel better about my shaking lol.

See, even if I was obviously nervous, at least I did it. Like Emcee said, I may never get an opportunity like that again. No Day But Today
I'm just worried about whether he saw us semi-stalking him at the refreshment stand.
I hope the TTB concert can be real. He said it would be for Friends In Deed, so he's already got that connection taken care of. And he said next spring, which is around the 10th Anniversary of Rent on Broadway, so the timing would be appropriate.
I was telling my sister about the whole night yesterday and was trying to describe Raul (Ah, I'm on a normal computer, I don't know how to do the accent!) to her. I finally ended up saying he was like "The Johnny Depp of Broadway. Like he can do any show and make it infinitely better just because of his performance." She thought it was cool, but didn't really get how freakin' awesome it is.
I was shaking when I met Anthony too, but that's just because it was so sudden, I didn't have time to compose myself or anything. (still sorry for dragging you, Em!)

Aww, your encounter w/ Anthony was cute.
Hmm, well look at it this way, even if he did see us, he still had no problem talking to us and stuff so maybe he didn't mind.
Ah, I came in right when he was disussing TTB, think I heard a little bit of it being the 10th. anniv. of Rent and appropriate but I didn't hear about it being a benefit for FiD, that would be appropriate.

Gah, I'm dissapointed in Raúl...he wasn't performing Toot Sweets this morning. Ah, well. There are, hopefully, other oppurtunities.
I hope everyone is having a great turkey day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my lovely ladies!! I know I haven't been on much these past couple days...I think I'm more busy during break then at school! Saw Phantom Tuesday night...awful. Seriously, that show needs to close. Or at least for a few months and revamp...it was just...bad. And I LOVE Phantom. Also saw the Rent movie last night...amazing. Still gathering most of my thoughts, but I loved it for what it was (although it doesn't stack up (as most movies don't today) to director's work of old...a la Hitchcock or Hawkes or Sirk...I'm really starting to believe that filmmaking is a lost art...sad, isn't it?) I got to see a bunch of my home friends which was nice...we're all gearing up for next Thursday (my friend's first night in Rent)...it's gonna be insane.
Anyway, just wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy TURKEY DAY! I have to go and do my one job for the day...I'm the silver polisher. It's exciting, I know. :P

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I watched the parade this morning, and even though I knew ahead of time Raul wouldn't be performing, it was still sad.
His understudy seems so much OLDER. It wasn't the same.
