It's true!
Backtracking a bit, that's interesting about Bounce -- especially that Doyle would direct. I'm not crazy about the score from the times I've listened to it, but even middle-of-the-road Sondheim is better than quite a lot of what's out there. If that happens, I hope that Bounce's run overlaps with Sunday in the Park with George and Cabaret. I never luck out that much with scheduling, though (e.g. Patti in Gypsy).

Isn't Cabaret opening after Sunday?
Oh... DUH. Yes. Same venue. Once again, multiple trips.

(OMGCABARET.)
[The thread falls silent.]
Because it took you over 24 hours to come up with a topic that WASN'T about the Tonys...
I relate entirely too much, Ash. I really wish there was more of an overlap between all the things I wanted to see. Damn Gypsy.
I need to hang my Cabaret poster. And my Chess one. But I ran out of that gummy stuff that I used on all my other ones, so they've just been sitting on the floor for 2 months. With the addition of those two, Raul will officially have taken over my wall. But I'm still not as bad as Em.
HUGE fan!!! He is my fav Broadway Male preformer. HUGE FAN!!!
I just also wanted to say his prformance at the Tony's was insane. Goosebumps.
Aw, skittles outed me.
Actually, most of my posters are being stored at my house right now. :/
I have Chess and my other posters hung, but I have a picture of Audrey Hepburn that's been sitting on my living room floor for months because I don't have a stud finder/way to hang it. I really want to get frames for the windowcards, but they're kind of expensive.
Hi, alphieboy. I agree about the Tony performance.
I really want the ttB windowcard because I really love the show and that's how I first "discovered" Raul, but in addition to Company, Cabaret, Merrily and Sunday, my decoration is already disproportionately in his favor and it doesn't reflect well on my actual (less biased :-P) tastes. There are a lot of shows that I'd like to have windowcards of, but they're really expensive. I love ACL, but $200 for an OBC windowcard? I might as well use the money to build a time machine and go back to 1975 and buy one for $5. The revival ones are ugly. And I had looked for a Ragtime one for you, Ash, the last time I was in NYC. I love you, but not for $75.
I saw the really expensive Ragtime ones! Insanity. I think that the London logo was cheaper, but....it's ugly and completely unrepresentative of the show. (Besides, you gave me something WAY cooler! ). I'll keep an eye out for any non-ugly, not insanely expensive ACL ones for you.
I don't have a Company windowcard yet. Assuming that they're selling them when I'm there, I'll try to get one then.

Am I the only one without a damn Chess poster??? lol
I heart my Chess poster.
My toes aren't big fans of your Chess poster!
Your toes? :)
The ones that almost froze off......
OH! Hah, I'm so slow today. My poster apologizes to your toes. And to mine as well, I think!
Just today???? hehe just kidding! you know I love ya!
As far as I know, there are only 4 Chess posters. And I've seen all of them.
It's ok Tink, the only window cards that I have are Sweeney and Assassins.
I've been listening to Assassins a lot over the past week. I was watching NPH host Regis and Kelly and he said something that made me think of Assassins, so I listened to it. Ballad Of Czolgosz has been stuck in my head ever since. Was Czolgosz the role Raul was supposed to play? Or Zangara? One of the Z ones.
Zangara, I think.
Yeah, Zangara. I think he would've been interesting, even though it's a small part.
Assassins is SO catchy. I get Ballads of Czolgosz and especially Guiteau stuck in my head so often.
Everybody's Got The Right is really cathcy too.
I think it's really amusing/interesting how catchy it is, heh. I mean, they're singing about assassinating presidents and the music is bright and cheery Americana. It's a really under appreciated Sondheim show.
