Emcee, for today? I could do it tomorrow if you'll still want to go. I would do it today but these Realtors are at my house for an open house...
My brother's high school graduation is tomorrow, so I have to go out of town. But thank you!
Hehe, yes, Tink. But I do repay favors. Just putting that out there for y'all locals.
I like my job, but its hours are on my sh*tlist right now.

Yeah, I'm tied up at home today, unfortunately. Next week I am working all day and night almost every day, so I know I won't make it then. I'm going to take out my frustration on the kids, lol
I'm off to go bug someone at the box office. Think sympathy!
Good luck, em. If they don't know you at the box office by now, I don't know what to think. Turn on that charm!
try the grey haired guy with the little black glasses! he's the best!
Well, Em, I am not sure but I might head in some point next week. I'll keep you posted on a date if I choose one!
I may have to just get tickets rather than rush now. My poor bank account, but it's well worth it.
aaaaand the guy at the box office looked at me like I had lost my mind. Before telling me that I HAD to wait until 5:00. Sigh. Nay on the influence of the puppy-dog eyes, I guess.
I'm gonna try to finish up at the office early, though, and get up there sooner.
I was just listening to Raul in Rocky Horror while taking a walk, and I could not stop thinking how sexy and wonderful his voice is.
If only Riff-Raff had more songs!
That sucks, em. At least you tried! :) Hopefully you can skip out of work early and score tickets.

Sorry, Emcee. I could take the train now, but I still wouldnt make it in time. Otherwise I'd go and wait for you.
I'm sorry, Em. One would have thought the box office guy would want to sell tickets early, but I guess not. Best of luck rushing later.
If the producers have say on rush, maybe they're truly not allowed to release them earlier. Who knows. One would think selling two tickets wouldn't make a difference.

Well especially since they've been giving them out earlier in the past few weeks, from what people are saying.
At least they're sticking to a policy. If they gave you tickets early, they could also give tickets early to someone else for whatever reason another time and run out of rush tickets, like people were complaining about in the student rush page on the main board. I'd rather them be fair- even at my expense. Two tickets may not make a difference when it's you, but what if a week from now, they gave out tickets early for some girl with puppy eyes and you were the one that couldn't get tickets?
I will be spending my July 1st watching "Super Comet: After the Impact."
I think that's why they aren't; if they do it for one person, then they have to for everyone else. No matter what time they give them out, there will always be people there early; so if they "officially" moved it back to two or noon or whatever, people would just be there even earlier. I just don't understand why they went MONTHS without sticking to the policy, and now suddenly have to again.
Because everyone and their mother is now running to see it and they actually have to worry about limiting student rush instead of barely selling the front row. Gotta love all those "huge" Company "fans" that didn't see it until May.
yeah, it's a little hard to take now, especially considering the fact that for months, I could show up at the box office at 7:30 and still get front row seats...
i'm getting really nervous about the rush on the last day. i already bought my rear mezz "safety" tickets, but i really hope they don't suspend the rush.
I thought they already said that they wouldn't have rush tickets available for the final show. Someone (Emcee?) asked the day after the closing was announced.
I didn't ask, but I remember seeing someone post that s/he asked and they said probably, but they aren't sure yet.
So, I got the front box, stage left. I LOVE those seats. But, after all of that, I got to the theater to find that Raúl was out. So hi.
WHAT? He hasn't missed in months. Why now?
Someone asked one of the ushers when he'd be back, and they said they assumed tomorrow, but didn't have any information on the situation at all.
*mumbles and starts pacing*
Too many drinkies with the auction winners last night?
lol. That was my first thought too, Keen! Someone had a little too much fun with Sondheim last night...
