Thanks for the pictures everyone (and the wallpaper, Craww!). I guess what Raul lacks in height (he's only half a head taller than me), he makes up for in presence. Even with Cary Shields? Wow.

5'3? owch. I am about 5'7 and he's only a little taller than I am, I would say 5'8 - he's about the same as my stepfather.
Craw, I definitely stole that wallpaper, thank you!!
Heh, now I'm imagining him standing on his toes to be as tall as Cary.
Yeah, he's definitely around 5'8" because he's a good six inches taller than me.
Thanks all for your validation.
If any of you are Amazon customers and are so inclined to correct this guy's misperception for a broader audience, please do so in the link below. I hate to cheat Raul of five inches (...that so did not sound right )

What a long, wonderful weekend. I had the worst trip back last night/this morning, which led directly into apartment hunting with my brother, but I'm so glad to be home. Greyhound's motto should definitely be, "You get what you pay for."
Oh, no - I'm so sorry. Having several such bus experiences myself, I can definitely empathize. Did you get delayed? In spite of all that, I hope you had a fantastic time at the show

I'm so glad that you made it in time for the show, though! Now go and sleep, hehe
It was so great to finally meet so many of you guys yesterday.
I think Raul should have worn the purple shirt more often.
It was a good color on him. I still get nervous around him sometimes, but it's rarely ever because he's just so gorgeous that I can't speak, or something, anymore -- I will admit to a good amount of swooning yesterday, though. I was not nearly as articulate as I had hoped to be when I saw him after the show, but I can only hope that maybe the way I stumbled over my words spoke for itself, and was perhaps telling of what I was trying to say. We hugged and thanked each other, and as much as I wanted to say something profound about my love for the show, I think that was kind of enough -- I'd think that after all of this, my lack of composure and ability to say much would make him understand what I wanted to get across.

That is a good color on him, isn't it? And the cross was just an added bonus. The fact that he doesn't wear it all the time makes it like an added bonus when he does. I'm just like "humina-humina-humina..." hehe.
I'm glad that I wrote to him and said all I wanted to say about the show - the same goes for the cast. I still feel like it's never enough. Yesterday felt like a good send-off for them, though.
And yeah, it was great to meet everyone yesterday!
I don't normally "stage door" because a) I used to do that back in my teenage Rent days and feel waaaaay old for it now and b) I get really overwhelmed around people I truly admire.
But, twice during Company's run I waited around, yesterday being one of those times. Both times that I was actually close enough to say something, I barely managed to get a coherent string of words out of my mouth.
I like to think that it's mostly because I stand in awe of his incredible talent...but I think it also has a little to do with the fact that he's just so pretty.
The pressure was on me to actually thank him this weekend, so I was actually really nervous to approach him. (I thought I'd moved past some of that). At any rate, cheers for Albert who made it possible

what happened with Albert?
So I'm at work and just called a patron to let them know that their books came in, and got their answering machine. The recording said "Hi, you've reached Peter and Susan..." and of course I thought of Company
A couple of days after the show opened, I heard an answering machine that was "Robert and Kathy..."
Awwww, cute!!
Hey, Em - I love your sig. That's crazy because I was thinking about the song in respect to Company for the past few days.
Albert let me talk to Raul after Friday's show. I thought I'd missed him because he was already in the car, but Albert told me to come over anyway.
That's exactly what it's in reference to.
I still love how we're actually calling him Albert. So nonchalantly too!
That's funny - I was totally listening to the song for Company, too. Especially the first line you have up.
Someone needs to find out Albert's real name... we know we're in trouble when his entire identity morphs unquestioningly into "Albert." But doubtless, his actual name would seem far less fitting.

It's on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't remember it. Has he been Raul's driver for awhile, or just for this show? Its funny how everyone else just like runs to the subway and stuff and Raul always has his car waiting for him. So pampered
weird Chorus Line coincidence - I requested that recording last week and just got it in today from the library. I've been thinking of that song for a few days now.
Those sorts of things are arranged case by case within a show, I think. Lots of shows have cars for their leads, but some don't.

Oh, okay. A perk of being above the title, I guess
On Sunday I heard Michele call Albert on her cell phone, she was like "hi, can I come and sit in the car?" She was only standing right under the marquee, so I dont know why she needed to call, heh
Maybe Albert is "on call"? I've seen Raul head for the subway just like the rest of us mortals.
I want to marry Raúl E. Esparza, but he refuses to leave his wife for me.

I'm not saying anything...
lol, "us mortals." Well, the car was already there when she called - she was like, two feet away from it. So who knows.
