He looks like a skinny Marlon Brando - and about 12 years old.
Love the new headshot although it lacks the five hours of whiskers that seem to be the new look for everyone in the biz - I think the new shot is perfect if he is looking for movie parts because it is a close up and emphasizes his eyes.
Stop me before I write anything else that sounds like a teen fangirl!

I'm totally thinking like a teenage fangirl right now, which is why I'm going to avoid posting my thoughts on this one.

Posted: 7/5/07 at 12:40pmYou know what I'm going to miss? The little old ladies at the Barrymore and the way they used to fawn over Raul. It always made me giggle to overhear their conversations as they marveled at his bio and talked about how dreamy he was. Last week, there were these people who were like "ohhh, he was in a MOVIE!"

"You should post it [Raul's California high school yearbook photo] anyway."
I'm a total ditz when it comes to doing stuff online (it took me a long time before I figured out how to join in the conversation), but if you tell me what to do, I'll try to post it.
Sondheim Geek, the photo you posted may be his Florida high school senior portrait; I have his California high school sophomore class photo, when he's all of 15 years.

It's pretty easy.
Go to tinypic.com, and click the "choose file" button. Browse your computer for the file, and click okay, or open or whatever. Then just hit "upload now." The picture will upload and TinyPic will generate a series of links. The board can sometimes be finicky about which links it will accept, but the one I have the best luck with is the one that has the "IMG" tag before the URL. Try that one.
Does that make sense?
That picture is definitely his previous headshot, but who knows what year it's from, heh. It could be almost that old. It looks so very early 90s.

I mean... the little old ladies were cute... but... eh, sometimes it was crossing the line (ex - "yummy!").
Cort- first, you have to get the photo on your computer... then upload it to a site such as tinypic.com, and then get the link. I'm awful at explaining things, but I could be more detailed.

Thanks for the lesson on upload pix. Here it is in its unretouched and enormous glory; any way to make it smaller?

Tinypic doesn't resize, unfortunately -- ImageShack does (imageshack.us) as does PhotoBucket (photobucket.com) for which you need an account... but signing up takes like 10 seconds.
And... oh my God, that is hilarious. That picture is as old as I am, heh.

Posted: 7/5/07 at 1:28pmEven in a fuzzy picture, he looks exactly the same. Wow.

He really does look the same - that's too funny!
And a note about the ladies...they were cute initially, but they DID cross the line, especially on the last day when they were asking people to point out Michele to see if she was "pretty enough" for him! Whaaaat?! I was mortified, especially because Michele was just coming out of the door and getting in the car.

Making it smaller automatically makes it less fuzzy, but I tried to fix it a little bit. Let's see...

CUTE. So the type I would have crushed on in high school (he looks a lot like my high school crush, come to think of it).
And really, the Chitty press hair? That's second only to shaving his head again on the list of things Raul should not do to his hair.
I remember how excited everyone was when his new headshot came out.

That's funny that he graduated from a high school in Fremont because I graduated from the adjacent high school in San Jose. Granted we're a few years apart...just a few
. Does anyone know the name of the school?
BTW...I assume the regulars in this forum have already covered this, but there is a gallery of nice pictures of RE on www.viewimages.com.

Oooohh....Raul at 16 looks like he could have been president of the Computer Club. But he looks like the guy I had a high school crush on, too. Hmmm, why is that?
I agree his big helmet hair during the Chitty year did nothing for him. I think he looks so nerdy in the ATW Working in the Theatre video podcast.

I have a picture of Raul and I from Summer of... I guess '05? Whenever Chitty was running. He looks gorgeous in it. His hair was longish, but not like in that awful aforementioned press shot. It was wet and falling into his eyes.

Posted: 7/5/07 at 3:31pmA lot of those are overlaps from GettyImages, but still, the Tony performance ones are new. The lighting is beautiful.

I'm glad that we have more of the Tony images, but I really really like the one that whatshisface on this board posted (the one that's your icon, Emcee), more than the small one that's on the site.
The Tony ones out of the performance look a bit... odd.

Posted: 7/5/07 at 3:59pmHe looks SO teeny in that one with the spotlight. It's like some weird godly beam. I love this one, though, in my avatar. It's such a beautiful moment, captured so perfectly. I love the way his shadow kind of emulates the tip of the diamond.

He gets even better looking with age.
Those pictures from the Actor's Fund "There's No Business Like Showbusiness" gala - WOW.
