Welcome, Rentjenn! Part 1 was definitely our craziest thread. I'd like to think we've all...matured...since then. Maybe? Hmm...
I think we have. We are now older, wiser, and RECIPIENTS OF VOLUNTARIES.
HAAAAA!!! I remember lurking because I was curious, but not really interested because I was unfamiliar with him.
How times (and interests) have changed! I need to go back and re-read now.
and i think i might get in trouble for my avatar...??

He looks like a little wind-up toy in that Tony picture.
So you never passed it off as a lamp?
And please tell me your not as crazy obsessed with hugs as the Spring Awakening crowd. I hope you were being sarcastic. That voluntary and involuntary stuff cracks me up, at least what I've read about it. I should hope you've gotten a voluntary by now as many times as you've seen/met him.
You may have been the recipient of a voluntary, Ms. Emcee, but I can not claim the same as of yet. Hah. Voluntary.
I was just reading over part one again. GEEZ, I was crazy. We all were, a little. I came across this picture on page, like 8, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face:
Haha, voluntaries.
Whoa what's with the clown outfit?
Whoops.
I should have just stuck a lampshade on it and called it a day, but no, I said "yes, mom, it's art."
lol, oh God, no! I am unabashedly mocking them. See the creepy fan group thread. The whole hug lingo thing is one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time.
dancing, it's from Chitty.
I think that's the thread I read too. Whew, glad you were mocking.
And did she like your bamboo art? It's very refined.
I love the straw hair.
Roland Spicer.
Totally mocking. It did happen, though. And it was loverly.
I think it's classy. I don't think Mom agreed.
dancing, it's from Chitty.
That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure.
Those pants were the best.
Plaid enhancement?
Elphie, thanks for welcoming me. I guess you live in NY now and not NC...am I remembering correctly?
And Em, did your mom think that the art or the hug wasn't classy? (the art I hope)
Heh, the "art." She thinks Raul is a jerk, so when I mentioned in passing that he gave me a hug, she was like "......... REALLY?!"
Now I know how to surprise my mother, I guess.

I don't think my mom would care if Raul was a jerk, because she put her stage door picture with him on her desktop. Even after all the awful things I told her about him.
I thought I was hallucinating when my mother actually took it upon herself to go over and congratulate him on his performance.
Rentjenn, I still live in NC, but I'm in NY with my family for the summer. And I go to school in Chicago.
Sometimes, I really miss Chitty. Especially the part where the car flies and everyone gets so excited.
And the butt wiggle.
Why does she think he's a jerk. He can be a bit snippy, which I myself unfortunately witnessed a little of(but I got to hold his cell phone and cheetos so it was ok), but he seems like such a caring person overall.
Heh, what happened?
She thinks he's pretentious and arrogant and insincere, etc.. He's certainly not my favorite person in the world, but for the most part, without being too naive, I've found him to be a nice guy, and just the opposite.
Well, it doesn't matter WHAT you're talking about as long as you are the recipient of a voluntary. Gosh, you guys have so many more voluntary points than me! I feel like such a bad Guilty Raul.
I should just go to sleep and stop bothering you guys.
Voluntaries trump all other more important things.
