Just when you think Raul can't get any cuter (esp after the Bwy.com video), this pops up and you just have to say "AWWW!!!"
... what pops up?

That article in nymag.
Em, it's on page W9, if that helps. There's one picture; Raul at the corner of the stage with a glass in his had, singing, with another guy singing and the woman playing April playing her instrument, another woman (not sure which one), and Angel playing violin and Barbara Walsh singing. In black and white.
He calls Raul "singularly magnetic".
It's always a very good sign when the WSJ likes it. They're even tougher than the Times.
Heh, when they give a review I disagree with, I'm like "what do they know about theater?!" because it's a convenient excuse. I figure, "who looks there for their theater news?" But anyway, I'm glad they liked it. They reach a wide audience.

All this talk of mothers- I actually just showed my mom the Company video. She is a bit of a Raul fan now (who couldn't be, after seeing that beautiful 'Being Alive'?).
I've had a Raul desktop up for a couple months, and my mom finally asked who it was. Now she's going around saying how cute he is. Took her a while, especially since she saw him in TTB too.
We've got a NY trip planned (finally) for March. Raul's contract will probably run through then, right?
WTF? NY1 totally skipped out on a Company review. The did The Coast of Utopia, then The Vertical Hour, but not Company. LAME.
I think someone mentioned on another board that they did review it, Elphie, I just think for some reason it didn't end up online.
Oh. Well. I wanted the clips!
Website updates - go look!

They have a press excerpt quoted from the Entertainment Weekly review, which isn't up yet, though according to their website they gave Company a B+.
I had a really nice conversation with Raul last night. Took me long enough to (marginally) open my stupid mouth, probably thanks to the lovely ladies who accompanied me. Maybe I'll stop like, being frightened now. It's not like he's going to bite.
I still need to see the Wall Street Journal review. My parents get the paper, so they have it, whenever I see them.
I'll scan it later for my ill-gotten copy.
em, did he take you up to his dressing room and take you, or are you too old for him?
I don't keep up with this thread, so forgive me if this has been posted. Melissa Errico would like to eat Raul for dinner.

Aww, I love Melissa.
Thanks so much for scanning that, skittles!
Thanks, skittles!
papa, remember the small issue of... persuasion? I'd like to think I'm too young, however.
*bump* Raul's too good to be on page three!
There's a wonderful ad in today's Times.
Did anyone watch the opening night video? Is it worth me waiting for it to load?
'cause BWW videos take forever and a day to load for me.

It's cute, watch it. The press clips are the same, but they interview like half the cast.
Yeah, it was fun to watch.
Company review in this week's New Yorker. Acting and staging good, playing instruments emphasizes the weakness of the book - according to the reviewer.
Are there pictures in the Times Em?
