Big yay for Mr. E.
I, like, really need that cast recording NOW.
Raul is smuggly. That means snuggly and...something. I don't know.
I'm so impatient for the recording, especially since it will have to tide me over until March. Counting today it's, what, 10 days? Wow.

Just saw this on Playbill.com. Did anyone see this?

Miscast sounds super but I might have to rob a bank to attend at those prices!
I need to stop listening to the clip of Marry Me . . .
It's sooo addictive!

The clips are so long and wonderful!
Allie - I noticed that the other day too... (I searched the ASIN to find it, actually). I haven't been able to track down the actual album on ANY Canadian sites, have you?

I haven't, jenna. And it's going to cost $25 Canadian to order from PSClassics, if the CD is the same price as all the other CDs on the site. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. :-/ My dad owes me some money, so I might have to dip into that.
Did anyone else see Raul on the cover of the Times arts section? Not a focus on Raul (the article was about relationships as depicted on Broadway, with Company as an example), but a lovely big picture of him and Elizabeth.
This was on the main board. I REALLY hope this happens, how amazing would that be??

Ariella, I did see that. It's sitting right here next to me, actually.
It would be awesome if Raul had a job lined up right after Company, but doesn't it open this coming fall? Hopefully Company will still be running.

Catching up... I think I had a mini heart attack when I read that Raul likes '24', as it has been my obsession of late. Oh, and how I wish I had an extra $300 to spend to see Miscast... I'd never heard of it before but it sounds really fun.
That show has consumed the brains and lives of each member of my family. I won't go near it because I don't have time for that kind of addiction.
Miscast, I believe, is the origin of Raul's Defying Gravity.

Yeah, my sister gave me the first season and said "You will watch this, you will love it, and you will become a vegetable until you finish every season". I watched all the seasons for two weeks straight, lol.
And gotta love that Defying Gravity, although, in all honesty he sounds great doing it.
I thought so, too. I'm not exactly discerning when it comes to Raul.
Rarely have I laughed so hard as I did during that performance. Like, you know when you laugh so hard that it just hurts? Like that. Hilarious. The song certainly didn't allow him to sound his best, but it was damned good.
oh, raul. *stars in eyes*
someone get me the company cast recording right now.
jshgksyahghlb!!
..*runs away and buries self in raul audio*
I couldn't agree more. My mom actually came down to see if everything was okay the first time I watched it. My ribs felt fractured for days afterward.
I had him pegged as this totally serious guy, so the whole thing kind of threw me because he was so silly, slightly vulgar and... well, a little swishy. I didn't expect the whole thing to be as funny as it was, because I was so used to seeing really serious interviews from him.
A little swishy?
Aww. This is making me want to watch it! I haven't in a while.
Exhibit A:
It's been a little too long since that was posted.
He shouldn't be allowed to do that.
