UGH - that's the second time that horrendous picture has shown up lately.
Change of subject - I have just listened to tick, tick...BOOM! for the first time (don't shoot me). Nice -very very very nice.

30/90 is still one of my favorite songs.

I definitely rock out to 30/90 when nobody's watching.

Me too! I very quickly became obsessed with TTB and well Raul haha

Posted: 5/17/07 at 11:28pmI prefer to picture myself in a green green dress. 20 buttons. And a strap. And Raul. Oh, whatever.

Posted: 5/17/07 at 11:32pmI think that's one of the catchiest showtunes ever.

What? This one?
Yeah. I get angry if people interrupt me during the bridge of 30/90. Green Green Dress was my immediate favorite, though. Favorite color, and all.

30/90 has the best bridge, doesn't it?
And hey, anything's better than cat Raul and bunny Adam. (And no, that's really, really not a hint that someone should post it).

I have no music theory whatsoever, so I don't have a good way to explain it, but there's this one part in Johnny Can't Decide where the harmonies split a certain way, and it's just heaven.
Awww, kitten. heh.

Posted: 5/18/07 at 12:57amI love kittens and bunnies as much as the next girl, but my thoughts about the unmodified picture in question are decidedly less....sweet and innocent.

Oooh, they're big.
Fierce, Raul.
On a serious note, though, that Brilliant Mistake performance was mind-blowing, and completely unforgettable.

Okay, for the record I had NO idea how huge the God Give Me Strength pictures were! People have told me to leave them, though.
Raul in that Chess picture is so... Uncle Fester, except with hair.

A clip from that was the first time I was exposed to Raul, performance wise. It certainly was unforgettable. Mostly because he looked like a homicidal maniac, and I was afraid he'd developed a method of murder by vibrato. No one could ever accuse him of not being evocative.

Considering I just read that as "murder by vibrator", I think it's a sign I really need to go to bed.

It really does. Especially with that facial expression. All he needs is a lightbulb in his mouth.
Wanting life but never knowing how

Posted: 5/18/07 at 10:39amJust watched the Charlie Rose August 6, 2001 DVD that includes the TTB interview. Very appealing clips of LOUDER THAN WORDS and THERAPY plus Raul looking great. Quite clear that Amy Spaner and Jerry Dixon were pretty amazing, too.
