ohhhhh! i need to come crying to this thread! (well, not really crying, but you know.) Robin is going on as Angel for the mat. show and I'm misssssssing it!
Okay, first of all- that interview is great, lol. Calming and soft-spoken really is the only way to describe him.
So, guess what? I got a chance to see 'Find Me Guilty' today! I didn't think it would be showing anywhere near me but there is this theater about 40 minutes from my homnetown that shows some of the limited-release movies, and it was playing! Anyway, I thought Raul was excellent. Actually, the entire cast was amazing, but Raul's part was just so... wow. I couldn't stop looking into his eyes and I almost had tears in my own eyes. BTW, Raul doing an Italian accent = all kinds of hott, lol. I could barely hear his own voice in there, only during certain parts.
Anyway, if you get to see the movie, it's good not only because of Raul, so go watch!
Well, he's in the first scene of the movie, and then he's talked about a lot. His testimony is like the big one that everyone is excited about, and that scene is his only other one besides the opening. But it is... amazing. Lots of close up on his eyes, and he just tells so much with those eyes... gah, I can't get him out of my head!
If I wasn't so impatient it would definitly be a renter. And seriously Em, I could BARELY hear his own voice with the accent. It took some getting used to, but he's amazing. It's more of an Italian-American/mobster accent, but still very sexy.
Raul + Italian accent = me needing to see this movie ASAP
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time."
--NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms
I wonder if it's playing locally. Hmmmm. I rarely see movies here, but I may have to drag some people with me. Then maybe they can stop getting on my case about my weird obsession with this actor they've never heard of.
