I had the great opportunity to talk with him when I was in NYC and he told a story about how he ruined the Phantom's mask by putting it on when it fell into the pit- all because he wanted to be cool and pretend like he was the Phantom playing the organ!

Aw, I wish I could meet Seth. He seems like so much fun.
It's molded to the actor's face I think. So Seth putting it on would change the mold a bit.

Yeah, when you put it on it molded to his face, and it cost some insane ammount of money. Lol, poor Seth.
Seth does seem like he'd be so much fun to meet.
I was just thinking... leave it up to Raul to go to the (relative) middle of nowhere in Ohio and still garner a rave from the New York Times.
He's just awesome like that.
uuuugh, my mother. I'm too 'touchy' and need to 'grow up.' Why, so she can say bad stuff about everybody? ew.
It's not even worth trying to explain to her why I care.

Ugg, Em, tell your mother that she is being the immature one. Mature adults do not rag on a person's 'flaws' after meeting them once, and then try to make someone they care about feel bad by raining on their parade eternally afterwards.
EDIT: Ooo, so, my Seth's Chatterbox just came in the mail! It's the second appearence with Raul and it was so great. Now that I have both of them I honestly couldn't tell you all which to buy if you haven't gotten either yet. The first one is great because he tells lots of really great stories about his life- some heartbreaking, some amazingly funny. Plus he does his cute accent when talking about his family's reaction to Evita. The second one is great because he talks about his more recent work in Taboo, Hair, and Chess. Plus he sings three songs instead of one, and watching him do Heroes was amazing. I guess all I can say is buy both, if you have the cash- it goes to a good cause and they are both very much worth your time and money!
