So, Mano is probably doing something ridiculously sexy right about now.

Ok, maybe ridiculously dorky...but still.

Well, with Mano, there seems to be a very fine line (if any) between "dorky" and "sexy."
At least with certain fans of his.
Not that I'm going to mention any names of said fans.

I really want to know which showtune he's going to sing, since he only knows like 4.
(ETA: Hee, thanks! )

We'll probably find out what he sang soon enough. I'm sure that the "Why Yes, We Are In Fact Seeing Mano Right Now, Ha Ha Ha!" Club will post as many details as possible for those of us who have to experience it vicariously.
Until, of course, the recording comes out. (This is the concert that's being recorded, isn't it? *crosses fingers*)
Well, hopefully they bring back gifts.
And yeah, it's being recorded. No idea what's being done with said recording though.
Ooh, gifts.
Ahhh, I wish that I could have gone.

You know, I've been lurking in this thread (well actually both threads) for quite some time now and I think it's about time I join in on the Mano love. May I?
I'm back from the show! It was SO GOOD! I'm go glad I went. Mano did this ridiculously funny bit with another guy (sorry, I forgot his name)in which they sang like John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The rest of the show was amazing, he had lots of guests, including Lauren, and I'm sure the others will post more about it.
Thanks again, guys, for letting me sit with you, too. I had so much fun!
Woo!
What showtune did he sing?
I'm happy that you had fun! I second Mandi's question.
I'm back. No showtunes
He's doing another gig in September (I think that's what he said).
Guests included Marya Grandy who he sang The Hidden Sky with, Matt Heimer (the guy Jlc mentioned above), Melissa Errico who sang the Randy Newman medley, Merle Dandridge who he sang I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with, and Lauren Molina who he sang The Blower's Daughter with (SS! OMG! I was *shocked* when Lauren came out).
The show was amazing, as expected. Mano did say that it was being recorded, although, he kinda messed up a few times, and there was tons of cheering and laughing throughout, most of which came from our...general area. Oops. Mano told some repeat stories, but also rambled about things such as playing Dungeons and Dragons with his brother.
I'll post more later....if anyone wants to hear more.
Yes, that was his name, lol. Thanks Fantab.
Yay! I'm up for as many details as you're willing to give. :)
The more details, the better!

Awesome. What were the shoutouts?
Oooh! That song slays me -- I'm so glad that Lauren was there, and that you all got to see it live! It sounds like a fantastic time!
This song is not about sex, you freudian obsessed...

Mano took it upon himself to drink someone's glass of water when he ran out. He asked, didn't wait for a response, and charged.
He also rambled about how he put Tobias Ragg into a hobbit name generator.
