I messaged Mano on MySpace, but I didn't say anything interesting, so I didn't get an interesting response. He's cute, though.

*reads the last few pages* Hahahahaha!
I need a question to ask him, so I can get some good Mano mail. Hmmm..

You've all seen me perform in Sweeney Todd
And the Tony award you hope I win
I know you look at me like I'm a real God
And indeed I'll rule with my violin
I've fallen off the stage when I played Judas
I've been underused in that revival of Cabaret
And in Brooklyn I watched as people bood us
But in Sweeney as Tobias my talents are fully on display
And while my following is a newly formed theatre sect
And though for a fanbase I know I may fight a dual
I'll rise up to any challenge that I may detect
And in the end I'll destroy that Spanish Nancy named Raúl

Hilarious. Where is that coming from, BSo? Who wrote it?

Honestly?
That was all me.
Can I just say people didn't actually "boo" BKLYN. Trust me. It didn't do well, but the people who saw it enjoyed it. Or they left. Whatever it was. But they didn't boo.

Well, they sure bood when I went.
But, anyway, I needed to rhymed Judas...I think that was PRETTY good...Judas/boo'd us.
ETA: Oh, I see. You are a big BKLYN fan. So I hit you where it hurts. Sorry. Lighten up, though!

Awesome, BSo. :)
Nevermind, sorry Gypsy. I just didn't like it. That's all.

Didn't mean it as an attack. And I'm more of a BKLYN and the work I did with that show changed my life. Not exactly the show itself, but I was involved with it. So yeah, special place in my heart.
But good job with the rhyming. It fits.

OK, I am sorry.
I will not bad mouth it.
He was in Cabaret though as the understudy right?
I didn't feel like looking at his bio or anything - so I just wrote that. I imagine he tried a costume on once though?
(If anyone cares about the "tune" it sort of follows "What Keeps Man Alive?" or "How Do Humans Live?" from 3Penny. I dunno why. (And by "sort of" I mean "not really."))

I've fallen off the stage when I played Judas
I've been fairly naked in Cabaret
And in Brooklyn I watched as people bood us
But in Sweeney as Tobias I would rather stay
just because it's more accurate...?
idk, I kind of like it how it is.

Thanks!

I don't mean to be like, correcting you. I liked it how it was, so change it only if you want to. :)

Would he be freaked out that it's written from his point of view? Eh, he'd probably get a kick out of it anyway.
I see Threepenny in 7 days

Ah. Ernst. And Max he played. OK.
Well, I changed it.
