No, I agree. Longish hair is good. My boyfriend shaved his head a few weeks ago and I thought I was going to cry. I mean, it was to raise money for cancer...but still.

That's why even if it's not like, ideal in "Mano is gorgeous" land, it'll be cool, because he'll make it part of the performance. It's not just like "hey, it's summer, let's cut my hair!" but he wants to do it so he'll look more like what his character is.

He was all excited about it, too. heh.

btw, my friend was in utter disbelief about his age. I was like "so how old would you guess?" and she was totally shocked. Then again, she came out of the theatre RAVING about the show -- she said she'd never seen anything like it, and really couldn't stop thinking (and talking!) about how she loved that everything is so perfectly, finely nuanced and calculated, but after we meet Mano, and she's just like "man, he's gorgeous," for the rest of the trip home. :)

The thing is that he looks so much younger with longer hair, at least judging by pictures. I think that's part of the reason that he looks perfect as Tobias.
