oh dear. Why don't they ever learn?
I love the Olympics and all the glory and celebration and tradition. I hope that's the end of the bad news...

I wish we were there, Glebby!
(and then I wish we were travelling to southern Italy... but, I digress...)
I'm so excited for the Opening Ceremonies tonight! Can you imagine the experience for the athletes as the enter the stadium? It must be THRILLING!

Posted: 2/10/06 at 10:00amI believe the testing was on skiers. I think that's what I heard on CBS this morning. Interesting article in today's Washington Post about the commercialization of the games(though that's not exactly news). I'll still be glued.....

Eight cross country skiers, including two Americans, according to the AP

(sorry, I stink at links, so you get the full URL).
Looking forward to the Olympics - I'm much more a winter games fan than summer (figure skating, speed skating, downhill skiing - love it!)

Zach Lund, the top slider on the U.S. skeleton team, was banned from the Turin Olympics on Friday for taking a common hair-restoration pill that can be used to mask steroids.
