Liz, that's a really cute story! I'm glad you had such a great time, and that Mano doesn't think his fans are *completely* insane. I still wish he "got" Grover, though. Oh well. No one's perfect.
And Chica - wow, you're in contact with both Manoel Felciano and Harvey Fierstein? Hmmm, maybe I should get a MySpace (kidding! I don't need another online addiction).

Mano obviously never watched Sesame Street. Or else he'd acknowledge that it's KINDA funny to use a pic of Grover as your My Space profile. And then say "That's not me either".
Dude! That's funny!! I don't think it's weird that we thought it was funny. I don't know, maybe he never saw the comment, or doesn't remember. But it WAS really funny.
And the Harvey Fierstein thing is a long story. There was this fake Harvey Fierstein on My Space that I friended some months ago. For some reason, this "fakester" had me on his top 8. I sometimes sent him silly comments.
So 2 nights ago, I got an email from the "REAL" Harvey Fierstein. He was apologizing for me having been duped by that fake dude. We exchanged emails back and forth, cause I really didn't believe it was him.
So last night, he wrote me again. And he put up pics on his My Space to prove it's really him. And it just totally weirded me out.
And about the random Mano mail...well. He can be weird sometimes. And he's always super tired by Sunday. But in your case, Fantab, I just think he was going out of his way to show that he appreciates the support. If you try to read too much into it, you'll go insane. I've been there. You wouldn't BELIEVE the insane things he's written me that have made me overanalyze every little thing.

It IS funny. Is he too old to have watched Sesame Street? I guess he could be.
I read into everything. I understand. 
I think getting a response from these people is so important to us that we're like "OMG WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!"

I hate being a neurotic fan. I should be used to it, because Raul is simply IMPOSSIBLE to read on most counts, but he also doesn't let people interact with him the way Mano does. Adam and Anthony are so easy to get. Blunt as all hell, those two.

Fantab, seriously? One time I asked Mano a question, and he sent back an INCREDIBLY snippy, just weird answer that just completely confused me. I called all my friends, and we went over the message a thousand times, trying to figure out what it meant. (I still don't know)
So, yes. I've been there. And I overanalyze EVERYTHING.
And I KNOW I didn't just write Mano asking for free Sweeney tickets... Even though I was joking. Not really.

I've decided he ws just politely brushing me off. But, still...Man, I analyzed that one for weeks.
